Good Points: It was OK when it worked
Bad Points: It broke down numerous times
General comments: My Smeg DW167.1 dishwasher was 18 months old and has had to be scrapped.

After ~ 500 cycles, the baskets on the Smeg DW167.1 are starting to deteriorate with bits falling off all over the place.
I wrote to Smeg including photographs and their Correspondence Manager replied using phrases like "excellent product", "you have been unfortunate", "outside our customer service parameters", "unable to assist you with the cost of repair" and "very much regret that this situation has undermined your confidence in the Smeg brand", in her reply and referred me to their repair c ...

I have had my SMEG Dish Washer replaced 3 times under warranty. It has broken down again out of warraty and I cannot find anyone who can repair it.
