Sadly this product not only smells eye wateringly revolting, but it also doesn't stop the midges and mosquitos from biting. Oh well. (read more)

I live in Portugal and we do get a lot of Mosquitos as we have a river nearby. If you keep away from greenery, flowers and damp places, and put your repellent on before they start biting (lots of people only remember to put repellent on after they have been bitten), you shouldn't have any trouble. With small babies, we put repellent on their pillows and on the mossi nets etc. Not on their skin. (read more)

I found this review very helpful because I have been searching for an effective insect repellent and there are so many out there.
