General comments: Never heard of this company before but after reading some positive reviews about the Hanns.G HC194D on Amazon I decided to take the plunge and invest. I'm glad to say the gamble paid off and I'm now a proud owner of a large swanky new monitor.
It's offers a slim and sleek appearance with solid build quality. After the simple plug and play assembly I was impressed with the good resolution and colour definition, but best of all it comes at a bargain price at £120.
My only negative criticism would be firstly the speakers which sound rather tinny and lack any bass, and secondly the system settings need to be changed before opening gaming applications. Although this last problem might just be unique to Kubuntu (Linux) users.
Despite the little niggles this looks like a great performer and hopefully will prove just as faithful as my old CRT monitor.
