The TDV8 engine is an impressive beast, but supprisingly economical for 3.2 metric tonne vehicle. The power delivery is strong under small throttle openings, and is more than a match for petrol engined vehicle.The interior is a special place to be The style is a little square both outside and interior, aging the vehicle a little, but it has losts of charm that just say's british. If you want a reasonable economic, sturdy workhorse, that offers limo quality conforts you would be hard... (read more)

I found this review helpful because...It covered the ebasics. Would have liked more hard data, such as average mileage, etc.

If you have a family and drive on your holidays etc...and you can afford one....this is the best car in the world. Diesel now lots quieter and more responsive than the previous model. I dread having to drive a normal car again - low down and with the driver squashed up. (read more)

Upgraded from Range Rover TD6 to Range Rover 3.6 TDV8 Vogue SE 5dr. The TD6 lacked power pulling away. Good mid range power, a friend who has petrol supercharged says my TDV8 is as good as his, and more quiet. (read more)
