“ Standards slipping now ruled by Destination America”

Just returned from Western Splendours tour and whilst we enjoyed our holiday I have to say hotel standards are not what they used to be with Titan .we know that Titan changed their Land agents in America last year and now use Destination America where money rules. At the hotels we were booked in under that name not Titan so they obviously decide which hotels are booked. I sent in a detailed review as part of your questionnaire . I completed my questionnaire daily so my memories were fresh, if you check them you will see I mentioned things like shower gel daily, along with cramped breakfast facilities.
I would rather remember the good parts now and not continue with the bad and develop into a long moan, the good being our tour manager and driver, both excellent, the good company we found ourselves in, and the beautiful natural wonders we saw, our tour began on June 11th so I am sure you will be able to identify it.

We have looked into this for you and can confirm that since our Early Booking Bonanza brochure launched there has been a change of itinerary to our Oregon and Pacific Coast Tour in order to enhance our client experience and the tour. “Titan, not good for cruises and perhaps not the...”

We have travelled previously with Titan on several occasions including at least one ocean cruise and been pleased. We therefore booked up with them for a forthcoming Fred Olsen D Day Anniversary cruise since the children did the Battlefield trips from school and were impressed. Despite the apparent conciliatory tone of the Titan reply, having taken them up on the offer to contact their help desk, sadly I was received with the same negativity as when they were contacted originally. My impression is that they pay lip service to customer satisfaction but are not really interested. Coincidentally their share flotation bombed today and it is not difficult to think these factors are related. Presumably at least their management will now be replaced as a consequence and since the travel side is such a small part of the business, this will be hived off. They will therefore only be left with disenfranchised customers who bought useless shares but may then have to take some notice of those who are left. At least it is now clear that in many ways it is probably not a good idea to trust them with anymore of our money.

Hi, I was looking for reviews on Titan travel for a future holiday but this is just nonsensical. From what I can gather is the reviewer used Titan as an agent to book a Fred Olsen cruise. On any liner you will find almost everyone pays a different price to the next person. As the departure date gets closer prices do come down. Empty cabins are not economical. Should the cruise liners reimburse everybody, so all pay the cheapest price? Don't think so. Absolutely no idea why you waffle on about the stock market? My advice is book your next holiday at the last minute,(you may miss out) get a great deal and tell everyone, so they get upset and complain.

Here is your complaint but in another context:
We have shopped at Tesco previously on several occasions including at least one big weeks shop and been pleased. We therefore bought some Buffalo chicken wings for a forthcoming barbeque, since the children purchased some sausages from a Morrisons supermarket and were impressed. We were tempted in by the buy two and get one pound off. At the till I noticed the customer in front of us had a good deal with some crushed chicken kievs from the reduced shelf which were close to the sell by date. I asked about this at customer services, they were not interested in compensating us and Tesco pointed out they sold many verities of chicken products also other animal meats are available. Having given them our money we are now expected to trust them with other merchandise!
I’ve heard in the media, they are apparently trying to crack the American market, details of their progress are due to be announced. Obviously someone has told them that to demonstrate a good level of incompetence, examples of different prices for different items and poor customer service will endear them to the Yanks. Since they clearly no longer care about maintaining customer loyalty and reimbursing me over £6.00 it will be interesting to see how long they continue in business in the future and whether they manage to convince anyone not to shop at Aldi or Lidl instead.

“Calgary Stampede 2013”

Rodeo was fine but short. Too long in Banff where there is nothing much to do, same in Jasper. Too much time left to kick your heels without the guidence of tour manager then home. For £3000 should have been much better. If you want to see Rodeo get a couple of friends and do it on your own. As for "Free to airport", we all pay, only okay if you live miles from airport. We collate all feedback and this is then monitored by the relevant department. If we are to find we keep receiving negative feedback against a particular area, this is then looked into further by that department and any changes can be made as a result of this.

“Left high and not so dry!!”

“Mind numbing”

We went on a cruise with Titan Tours. The cruise itself was fantastic, but the service from Titan was terrible. The door to door service made the journey twice as long. The return journey driver was a maniac and made us travel sick. The Titan rep was useless. The hotel in Venice was, well not actually in Venice and was bland with no character. “We have just returned from our fourth tour with Titan...”

We have just returned from our fourth tour with Titan and our second to Australia. This time "The Best of Australia" Our holiday started from the time that we were picked up at home by the Titan driver. Getting through airport control was made easier by the representatives there and our tour manager accompanied us from Heathrow. Just come back from Titan Hitours - California and the Golden West. What a great holiday, hotels were good, Flamingo in Las Vegas very basic though, could have had better choice but view from window was great.
Very good information from Tour Guide (Richard), very helpful and made the holiday that little special. Extra tours can be included most worth while exspecially the Vegas Night Tour to see the Light Show in Fremond Street.

We have just been on the Canadian Coast to Coast holiday. We enjoyed it very much and found the staff great and very helpful. All in all a wonderful holiday.You have to remember that you have to find most of your meals on this tour, but the tour manager had plenty of suggestions and after a day or two it was no problem. There were no awful surprises for us as everything was explained in the literature.

We've just returned from the New England/Canada tour with Titan Hitours.

This was our first trip with Titan and it certainly won't be our last. Titan look after you from the very beginning up until they drop you back home. The driver taking us home from the airport even asked if we wanted to stop off and get milk and bread etc.

Just come back from California and the Golden West with Titan HiTours. A tiring trip, see a lot in 16 days. Excellent Tour Manager, and coach driver which made this our first experience with Titan memorable . Most of the hotels were of a high standard, Flamingo in Vegas not great and the San Simeon Lodge was very poor , the rest were fine though. I would definitely book with Titan again these were only minor flaws in an otherwise excellent trip. Hotels were of a good quality. Read in a review that all inclusive would be good, not sure about that, I enjoyed finding places but the tax and tips were a bit tricky at times. The flight with Virgin was good. I didn't use the door to door service choosing to fly to Heathrow instead. Overall a good holiday, if you want to see a lot in a short space on time but very tiring. These type of holidays that Titan HiTours offer are, I feel, unsuitable for people with disabilities as there is a lot of walking involved and sometimes this can delay the group.
