I was very confused what holiday destination to go to, the travel consultant suggested I try Dubai and Abu Dhabi which sounded fantastic as I did not want to go to far out. She researched all the hotels for me and always phoned me back. I have to say that the advice and guidance we received in selecting a holiday to Mauritius by Lai at Kenwood was absolutely excellent. The holiday turned to be even better than ever we could have expected; the flights with Emirates were very good as were the transfers to and from the resort. I had contacted the ‘Flight Centre’ and ‘Kuoni’ to help me get away for Easter and they both came back with ridiculously priced holidays and flights that I would have to change at least once before I reached my destination of Thailand. Used Kenwood Travel after finding them through a search on line. I found a hotel in Pattaya, Thailand that I wanted to stay at and booked it along with flights via Kenwood Travel online. The next day my girlfriend decided that she would rather go to Phuket. I contacted kenwood Travel and they changed the hotel to one Phuket that we liked and added the additional flight from Bangkok to Phuket. “HAVENT BEEN ON HOLIDAY YET BUT SO FAR EXPERIENCE NOT GOOD”

Booked over a year ago, flight and accomodation for 4, found out only once e-ticket had been issued that flight details had totally changed, rang 3 times with promises of return calls (which never happened) to find out what happened. Apparently United Airlines had pulled flight, which is not great but understandable, what I dont understand is that this happened 5 months ago and they failed to tell us, we have since booked visas which we need to change and taxis etc. Also fail to see why it... I booked an 9 night holiday in September 2012 to Antigua and paid the balance of my holiday end of January 2013. When looking to book my seats on the aircraft I discovered that the dates had changed to a 8 night holiday, not once was I informed of this and I was also charged for a 9 night holiday!! follow up! after speaking to customer service manager who dealt with my complaint very professionally and tried to resolve my complaint to mutual agreement.
I would now give Kenwood travel another chance on booking my next holiday, the inital booking procedure was very good and apart from this big mishap everything was dealt with well.

I agree, Kenwood only care about one thing.... Taking money! After care is non existent and if you ask to be referred to someone higher up they put you in touch with the rudest manager ever!
Believe me when I say that I will never book with kenwood again! Please be warned! Go elsewhere, it will be cheaper, better organised and definitely safer should you need help once you have booked or returned from your holiday!

I had a fantastic holiday but found out while i was there that 4 other couples had not paid the extra £1000.00 i was charged for a New Year meal!!!! On my return i tried to take this matter up with Kenwood but was refused contact with the head of the company when i was told "this was their busiest time and they really didnt have time to deal with me" I offered to accept the money back in credit towards another holiday and was offered £150!!!!! We discovered an error on our website whereby the Gala New Year meal was not included in our prices and which indeed cost £500 per person.
Being a reputable and long established tour operator we honoured the bookings we had already taken ,(about 4),by selling the holiday at the price as advertised; even though there was an error.
When this person made her booking the website had been corrected, we quoted the current price, this was accepted and she went on holiday. She is upset because we honoured our existing reservations but as a new booking she needed to pay the advertised price of an extra £1000. We see no discrimination here and have sent over a dozen emails setting out our position.
The Directors of the company have allowed a senior manager to deal with this and there has been no attempt to fob her off. We treat all of our customers fairly, and when they make a booking we honour our prices. Our potential customers are also treated fairly and are given the current advertised rate, which they have the option to accept or reject.
This person is unreasonable in her demands to obtain a refund for something which we have advertised correctly, we have paid for, she has accepted and received.

She was being perfectly reasonable in accepting credit off her next holiday as opposed to a refund.
Goodwill and all that, you really should have put yourself in her shoes.

Le Sport holiday resort, St Lucia, was absolutely fantastic especially the daily spa sessions, the waterski-ing & the aquarobic sessions. Got what I though was a competitive holiday price for Orlando on the Kenwood Travel Website and went through all the procedure of putting in passenger and card details. This was confirmed by email. I am very sorry that you feel so badly of our company, it does happen that sometimes prices on our website are not available due to offer being loaded incorrectly and on such occasions we react immediately by rectifying any errors.
Sometimes errors do occur so we state in our terms and conditions that errors and omissions are not accepted, this is standard practice across the industry and if you look at any other operator they have the same conditions. I have checked with the consultant that dealt with your request and they confirm to me that you were offered this holiday either the day before or the day after at the same costing but were unable to take the offered date.
I would like to apologise on behalf on Kenwood Travel that we were not able to honour the website price on this occasion but would like to extend any future booking with Kenwood Travel with a 10% discount for any inconvenience caused.
Kenwood Travel pride themselves on fantastic customer service and are proud of our reputation within the industry as being amongst the best, we service many happy customers and this was a very rare occurrence. This is exactly what happened to myself and wife.We booked to fly from Manchester to Barbados.When I had paid the balance,the web price dropped by £484 pounds.It seems they dont inform you of cheaper flights if they are available.It is,apparently £464 pounds cheaper per couple to fly from Gatwick rather than Manchester.WE WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THIS AGENT AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.We have been shafted!!

I am very sorry that your confidence in Kenwood Travel is so low. I can assure you that we took all the necessary steps required with diligence when making your booking as we do with every customer.
We did request a seat assignment from Virgin Atlantic in the normal fashion and our system still shows these seat numbers that were requested which is why the e-tickets are showing seat numbers as they are automatically printed and not manually written.
I have been in contact with Virgin to try and see if they can help and they say that there will be 40% of the aircrafts seat assignment still held back for the day of departure and for online check in, I have also been in contact with our sales support and there are notes in your booking to do everything possible to seat you all together.
Virgin Atlantic have confirmed that when requesting seats it is not guaranteed that you will get your preferences until you have checked in.
This is standard procedure with any airline when trying to obtain seats together, its always on a request basis only.
To clarify, this does not mean you do not have a confirmed seat on the aircraft, just that you do not have a pre assigned seat number until you check in.
I have re checked all other components relating to your booking and everything is in order, I do hope you are able to sit together for your flight and wish you a nice holiday.

Booked a short break over the bank holiday to Dubai, we stayed at the westin on jumeirah beach and flew with emirates from Birmingham.
