worst company i have ever booked with. its true their price on the internet is outdated and a couple of days later after booking they phoned to say they want another £200 or they will cancel. yes they gave us the option of money back but youve booked it and the kids are excited so we had to pay up. our friends cancelled but we didnt get a final invoice to pay the rest. when we did they siaid our friends hadnt cancelled and the whole amont would have to be paid. when i said would my hols be safe if i paid they said yes. icouldnt get it in writing though and they finally wanted about £170 off my friends but they wouldnt pay cos they had cancelled. sunmaster finally said if i dont pay i wouldnt get the tickets to gop so i had to forh out nearly £300 extra in the end just to go.
they never answer the phone and they say things which they always deny latter. i would never book a holiday with this firm again

DO NOT BOOK WITH SUNMASTER!!!
basically, they totally made a mess of the entire booking, booked to stay 26th oct 2009, farce at the airport, i submitted ALL passport details to sunmaster 20 days before departure, received confirmation emails that my request had been processed, got to the airport only to be told no record of us whatsoever, had to pay £50 at the check in desk which left me short of money for my holiday, if i had not have paid the £50 we would not have gone on holiday ...

Was charged for baggage (subsequently found out it was carried free of charge by the airline) and after 6 months they have decided I cant prove I have been charged - conveniently they have lost the recording!
Prices online donot match actual price of holiday as charges are added on (although this doesnt happen either apparently).
Shame because we did have a lovely holiday but I would never book with this company again!!
Their complaints procedure is a joke - still unresolved after 6 months so lo ...

stay clear of sunmaster , when you first go on website ,you think you have found a holiday cheaper than the rest, you put in your card details and they ring you to confirm details, but , their prices go up a lot ,and because you have entered your card details , you think you are committed o the holiday. we payed for flights meals but wernt on the list on the plane so we didnt get them.the holiday cost 808 pounds , i could have had exact holiday for around 600 pound off other sites, so be very ca ...

I was a bit worried after reading the negative reviews on here post booking my holiday with Sunmaster, but I was plesantly surprised. We had a lovely holiday to Turkey, everything was as booked. The only thing we regreted not doing was hiring our car through sunmaster as we would have got a better deal. You get what you pay for of course, but it's value for money.

The Sun Master booking staff were very pleasant and returned calls. We booked our holiday in January 09 to travell to Corfu and to stay at the Aqualand resort in August. In July we recieved a phonecall to say our hotel was overbooked! and they offered us an alternative hotel. We were stuck with going to Corfu as the flights are booked and paid seperatley and they only had 1 alternative which was nothing like what we had booked. Sun Master customer services staff dont return calls when you want to amend your booking
take your money but dont offer any service therafter poor to say the least offers hotels that are rated above what they really are 4* is actualy 2 *

Have just returned from a last minute booking through Sunmaster to Egypt.

Good points - they found me a late deal and booking staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bad points - I booked approximately 5 days before departure. I was told following payment that vouchers for flights, hotel and transfer would be e mailed to me. Nothing arrived. Called and told to wait until following day. Nothing arrived. Called again on Friday before Sunday departure. Told all vouchers emailed out after midnight o ...

have been experiencing terrible service from sunmaster, has been 3 weeks since we booked our holiday and still we have not recieved the correct booking documents, firstly all the names were wrong, there were 2 rooms booked instead of 3 and we had 2 transfers from airport to hotel for 7 passengers, 5 emails and a phone call later the names are still wrong, am now worried what will happen when we get there.

After booking with sunmaster and being sold our holiday as 5* AI, we were devastated to arrive at a 1980s style butlins in the sun 3* resort (Hotetur Belle View) with no air conditioning, room overlooking the main road opposite late bars and night life and to be treated on the phone with contempt by people from sunmaster and affiliates telling us if we wanted to move to another 5* AI hotel in the resort we would have to pay another £2,500 on top of what we were mis-sold as a 5* holiday. booked 2 holidays with sunmaster very cheap i had to pay extra for luggage and transfers , the agent was very friendly and helpful and still lots cheaper than in a travel agent which is the main reason for booking, would recommend to friends to book

Booked with Sunmaster one week before departure and then read reviews. Was really worried but my fears were totally unfounded as eveything went exactly to plan. Would definitely use Sunmaster again.

Never again!! As others have mentioned, the price you see when booking online from Sun Master is not the price when you ring to confirm. All of a sudden the flight you booked is no longer available (even thought the same flight was showing as available the next day) and the apartments you wanted are no longer available (ditto) and the whole thing ends up costing about £150 more than you thought. Booked with Sunmaster one week before departure, the only extra we had to pay on top of what was quoted on screen were for our suitcases. The staff were very helpful. Would definitely use them again.

a holiday was booked by my boyfriend,but needed a change of name on the ticket, b4 any confirmation was sent out i phoned to change it. . i was told tickets wer already in post & a charge of £100 4 a name change.unable to get thro' by fone i emailed 2 pay the extra, (more than once). 3 days b4 travel still no tickets and told fee now £226 to change name!!foned monarch airways who quoted £70 and wer shocked at the amount quoted by sunmaster.finally found their (office)? down so ...

***do not book with sunmaster -it's a huge con to get you to pay more when they ring you*****do not expect to pay the price you see online. i booked on line & when sunmaster called to confirm the 'details' the accomodation price had doubled and the flights had gone up by £60 each!!!! i am now looking for a more reliable site that gives honest, open prices with no hidden charges. i have had to click on the star rating and it looks as if i have given them 1 star but they are a no star compan ...

Sunmasters are a great company to book with, this is my third holiday with them and i have had no problems at all i recommend them to all my friends, as i think they are very reasonable, with a teenager and young toddler i find them very helpfull and obliging, If you have any concerns all you have to do is look at trip advisor and they will tell you all about the accomodation that you see before you book, i have had bad experiences with well known travel agents in the past its just you have to l ...

when i was booking the holiday with Sun Master the final cost was £701. however when i phoned them up to book the holiday they added a small cahrge for using a credit card of 2.5% and 0.5% for debit card. also if you choose to so with easy jet (EZY)they charge and extra £16 per suit case on top on top of the flight cost. they do this becuase they are a cheap airly. however i would still go a head with booking as you will be saving more becuase you are booking with a cheap flight rath ...

Booked with Sun Master, had a nightmare trying to get tickets from them. Transfer on return didnt even turn up. As in other reviews we had to pay over 100 pounds more than we were originally quoted. definately wouldnt recommend Sun Master.

I have had to chase sunmaster to send our tickets - it is 3 working days before we leave(Sunmaster do not work week -ends)
They obtain the tickets from Kiss flights & Kiss told me that they had been sent to sunmaster over 12 days ago.
We have to be @ the airport at 03.00hrs & do not need the hassel of searching for the desk to collect our tickets.
Sunmaster is making the holiday very stresful - Why? I shall never book with them again
