Good Points: The Cosmopolitan Hotel was a short walk from the Times Square Shopping Mall and Causeway Bay MTR station. The hotel operated a shuttle bus to the shopping centre but, after using it once and realising it was only a few minutes away, we usually walked. The Octopus card for travelling on public transport was great. We even used the MTR to travel to and from the airport. It was really quick, efficient and easy.

Bad Points: We only had one meal, breakfast, in the hotel. It wasn't very inspiring. The dining room was a little shabby and the food was the same. All edible, just unexciting, and unappetising. I may have had my worst coffee ever. It was a shame because the rest of the hotel was fine and the staff were all helpful and efficient.

General comments: This was a good value, modern hotel in a good location. It was ideal for the local MTR station and shopping. I'd have no problems recommending it. The food we did have was disappointing but there were plenty of places to eat nearby, from the ubiquitous McDonalds to Sushi and noodle bars.
