The movie did not touch my heart, nor my boyfriend's. The movie did not succeed in absorbing me into the plot. I did not feel connected to the characters. I even felt it turning it off at the beginning of the movie but I insisted to finish the movie as my friend told me it is a good one, but I really wish I did. (read more)

The Notebook is a beautiful film about love and how it can truly last a lifetime.

It starts off with an old man in nursing home who goes to read to one of the other female patients, he tells the story of two young lovers, Allie, a beautiful city girl, from family money, and Noah, from the country.
