What I love about Jeremy Kyle is that he'd rather try to reach some resolution with each problem, then to be all politically correct and avoiding the real issues. I love his passion and common sense approach. He's also not afraid of standing his ground & yet tries his best to get his guests the help they need. And he can even be funny doing it! I think it's a bad call to pull his show when they're are other new shows staying that really aren't handled well. I'm REALLY going to miss his show!!!

When I watch Jeremy Kyle USA, and see him in his element, I feel so proud ti be British!
I lived in the US for 3 years in the late eighties, and a big part of why I returned to England, was the fact that I just could not relate to the Americans, wregarding their "round the houses" way of expression.
Jeremy, gets straight to the point, and says exactly what these guests on his show need to hear!
But what I like most about. The show is when the camera points to the audience, and the expression on their faces.which says, wow, this man is clever, articulate, confident and is not fazed or intimidated by anyone! Love you Jezza for telling it like it is! X

loved this week of jeremy, good to see really nice people being recognised for their hard work, especially the woman today who works with young people, if we had more like her jeremy's disfunctional guests would decrease, our government should be looking to people like her for advice to help our young. jeremy and his team really looked as if they enjoyed these shows and i must say, the prezzies the show gave out to guests were fantastic, they were limitless, well done crew, it truly made my christmas week seeing deserving people get treated, although i've cried all week but with happiness. i also want to say all the best to the family who had lost everything in a house fire, i hope your home gets sorted quick and you all have a great christmas, all the best for next year, your sons are a credit to you. i cried the most at them, they were so gratefull for what they were getting, once again, well done jeremy and team.

As a counsellor, I am shocked that a program like this exists. Jeremy Kyle, the producers and his aftercare team should be made accountable this horrific display of vulnerable people for entertainment. I'm saddened that his after-care team would want to part of a project which would contribute to a individuals misery for entertainment, when it's quite clear they need emotional help and support in the first place.

Never watched before but watched the programme about binge drinking (Thurs 7th Jan) - brilliant!
This should be shown to secondary school children.
It showed real lads bingeing, their behaviour etc, finding out the effects of their fun nights habits on their liver & kidneys, through to finding out how lucky they are to still be alive, after talking to a bereaved Dad.

I think he is the best thing on television and i would not miss his show whether it is at 9.25 in the morning on ITV or at 1.30pm on ITV 2. He also gets them the help they need which seems to be everybody. All the guests he tells about using protection to prevent having children until they are ready they should all listen to him. I hope he continues to do his show for a long time because it is the only show I sit down to watch.

The Jeremy Kyle show is great for day-time viewing. It is annoying, happy, sad, angry, touching or sometimes thought-provoking.
Many different subjects are discussed on the show, mainly with dysfunctional families, cheating partners or people whose lives are a mess through drink, drugs or domestic violence. Children who go off the rails, parents who for whatever reason have been disowned by their children. Parents who are not bringing up their children very well where the children are upset and worried, or parents who are trying to bring up children in very difficult circumstances.
Jeremy first runs through an explanation of the problems then brings on family members involved in whatever problem they have individually. Often the sparks fly, words are bleeped out, security steps in and Jeremy remains calm until it is time for him to say his piece. People storm out, Jeremy follows them to get to the heart of the problem by talking to them backstage, while the cameras are still running.
He has a great way of talking to these people, often calming down a situation and making it possible for people to discuss with each other whatever difficulties or problems they may have, in an attempt to make everyone happy. He offers those involved counselling after the show where it is needed.
People in the audience are allowed to voice their opinions, often to the anger of those on stage who really don't want to listen!
When Jeremy has heard what all these people have to say, and he listens from all sides and points of view, he goes on to say his piece. And by God does he lay into some of them! He says just what you may be thinking! The guy is brilliant!
The show usually finishes with some sort of resolution or conclusion and often people are brought back to the show to see just how they are getting on since their last appearance.
Jeremy Kyle usually gets results. A program that when you watch it you will probably want to watch it again. It makes great viewing, not as aggressive as the Jerry Springer Show, Jeremy makes it quite clear he will not have foul language or violence of any kind on his show, any foul language is bleeped out and any attempts of violence the camera goes off the set, security comes in and Jeremy expresses his great distaste at those involved. And boy does he get some angry people there at times! It's great to see them brought down to Earth so quickly! It is Jeremy's extremely professional and diplomatic manner, his patience, his disgust and his sympathy with people that make this show such great viewing. At sometime, someone will hit on a problem you may have either experienced in life or someone close to you has. And some things in this show may make a lot of sense to you. Very thought-provoking to see how other people live or survive or fail in life, and how they either make good, or not.

Great review, you hate yourself for watching but you feel the need to hang-on for the DNA results and the like. Good and awful at the same time.

Have to agree with Tom - a very well-expressed, almost violently well-expressed critique. Jeremy is certainly no thinking man - he is a very angry idiot who idealises many of the more baneful sexual stereotypes of our time. But men certainly do come off worse on the show. His own action-obsessed view of reality, where men's lives can only be justified in relation to what they do and whose inner realies are completely ignored is enforced with truly shameful confidence. Life becomes a functionalist, soulless vacuum. I can imagine that a lot of good but jaded, miserable people go on that programme having done some ostensibly bad things to fundamentally rotten people and after a tornado of abuse, in which Kyle unleashes all his inner furies, return home to their modest homes with eggs splattered all over their windows. I always think of the WB Yates quote, I'm probably paraphrasing
<br/>
<br/>'The good lack all conviction. The bad are all passionate intensity.'

This exploitative feminist presenter sickens me. His arrogant biased mannerism throughout. His transparent baiting actually bring a sicky lump to my throat. Screaming at his guests like they're naughty schoolchildren. Coming out with the most conceited ridiculous rubbish based on his own experience, half his advice he isn't even qualified to express. The guys just a radio DJ. There are two sides to every story but Kyle only ever focuses on how much exploitation he can squeeze into 10 minutes. I also pity the people who actually agree to appear on his slot, whole things a freak show. My channel gets flicked at the mere gimpse of his name on a digital menu listing.

Are you serious?! Jeremy Kyle is an example of everything that is wrong with our society. Dragging chavs out of their council houses to scream and shout at each other for the delight of other dole scroungers isn't entertainment. It's a sad indictment of life today in Britain. Furthermore, the self styled ringmaster - Jeremy Kyle - is a supercillious, condescending, holier-than-thou hypocrite who has an ego the size of Jupiter. Who gave this man the right to cast judgement so freely? Who gave this man the right to shout at his 'guests'? More to the point, who gave this man a TV show? Utter bilge.

It's brilliant. Horrible, yucky people introduce themselves at the beginning of the show and then Jeremy Kyle spends the rest of his allotted air time telling them just how horrible and yucky they are.
It is a wonder that these people are actually living in the most sophisticated country in the world in the twenty first century and you simply can't help but marvel at how screwed up these peoples lives are. This show is actually doing a service to society though. It is acting as a reminder to the consequences of abusing alcohol, drugs, food, one's sexuality, family trust and often a fruity combination of these things.
They should play Jeremy Kyle in schools every single morning and the 'kids of today' might get their acts together a bit.
