What I love about Jeremy Kyle is that he'd rather try to reach some resolution with each problem, then to be all politically correct and avoiding the real issues. I love his passion and common sense approach. He's also not afraid of standing his ground & yet tries his best to get his guests the help they need. And he can even be funny doing it! I think it's a bad call to pull his show when they're are other new shows staying that really aren't handled well. I'm REALLY going to miss his show!!! (read more)

I used to really like jeremy kyle show but now this guy has gone too far. Since going to america his ego has gone through the roof. He's rude, self rightous and full of him self. Its all about his view what he thinks and doesn't even let his guests speak. I want to hear from them not him speaking over them while they try to respond to his question or endless comments. It really is the jeremy kyle show. I've switched of now because I'm sick of his rude condesending manner and the constant... (read more)

I hate the fact that all those sad miserable sour and half eaten hamburger faced gits who goes on to the show just exposes their entire family or relationship problems in such an aggressive and abusive way. They should be ashamed of themselves and I do not sympathise with their problems because as far as I am concerned they are all as bad as one another, complete and utter spastics who have nothing better to do with themselves than show themselves up on tv. Reality tv is littered with corpses. Lives are destroyed on a daily basis in the making of programs like 'The Jeremy Kyle show'. The Jeremy Kyle show is no better than a Victorian freak show with its baying and sniggering audience Working class, low intelligence 'Wayne and Waynetta' types are the selected victims of this show. As a counsellor, I am shocked that a program like this exists. Jeremy Kyle, the producers and his aftercare team should be made accountable this horrific display of vulnerable people for entertainment. I'm saddened that his after-care team would want to part of a project which would contribute to a individuals misery for entertainment, when it's quite clear they need emotional help and support in the first place.

The only person responsible was the perpertrator himself. He chose to go on the show and chose to react as he did. No defending the betrayal by his girlfriend but his violent behaviour was his choice. There could possibly have been violent history to explain her reluctance to reveal her wrong doing. I agree, help should be given to help women (and men) to escape from violent partners, whether the Jeremy Kyle team is equipped for that I don't know but there are other options they could have connected her to.
The whole point of this show I feel is to try to reach out and educate people into taking personal responsibility, for themselves, for their children, for familes and the effects of their choices. So Jeremy talks in a stern manner at times, this may be what has been missing in these people's lives before, hence why they are in the mess they are in and need the show to help out. Morals and family values are under enormous strain and any means of highlighting 'wrong' ways to conduct your life has to be a positive. I'm sure those who feel strongly against him can probably compare themselves to some of the guest types!
My biggest pet peeve, DNA tests. Why on earth do women allow themselves to get into the situation that they do not know who the father of their baby is? And all too often its not a choice of either or but 3, 4 or more. What will become of the generation of children who's paternity was determined through DNA test of a TV show?
Yes, this show highlights some of the very worst of our society but we cannot ignore them, hide them aware or write them off, we need to make sure we make an example of, and learn from them. People need re-educating on values, beliefs, morals and respect. Our society is saturated by broken families, weekend dads, unsociable behaviour and lazy benefit recipients. We MUST not allow this to take over and ruin our country.

Awful. Just awful. Like human bear-baiting. Kyle himself is truly obnoxious, presiding over the people who are there because they have some fairly major personal problems, alternating between exposing his "guests" to his righteous indignation and occasionally extreme patronisation.

I don't like it when you don't get the results and they ask you to 'keep tuning in', I don't like that expression either, 'tuning in' it's awful. No I prefer Maury on the living network, you get loads of DNA results back on the same episode.
Written on: 17/10/2007
They actually gave the DNA results on the same episode, there was of course a lengthy pause on Jeremy's behalf before giving the results. Oh the drama.
Written on: 17/10/2007
I watched an episode the other day and it had the DNA result on the same episode, Kyle was dragging it out for the full hour, saying come back after the break, as the 'tension' built as he went for a commercial break, it showed a brief clip of 'what's coming up after the ads' , it included showing the facial reaction of the person the DNA test involved when the results where given, from this I was able to gauge what the result was, maybe the producers could look into this as it completely released the tension and ruined the show if truth be told.

Many different subjects are discussed on the show, mainly with dysfunctional families, cheating partners or people whose lives are a mess through drink, drugs or domestic violence. Are you serious?! Jeremy Kyle is an example of everything that is wrong with our society. Dragging chavs out of their council houses to scream and shout at each other for the delight of other dole scroungers isn't entertainment. It's a sad indictment of life today in Britain. Furthermore, the self styled ringmaster - Jeremy Kyle - is a supercillious, condescending, holier-than-thou hypocrite who has an ego the size of Jupiter. Who gave this man the right to cast judgement so freely? Who gave this man the right to shout at his 'guests'? More to the point, who gave this man a TV show? Utter bilge.

This exploitative feminist presenter sickens me. His arrogant biased mannerism throughout. His transparent baiting actually bring a sicky lump to my throat. Screaming at his guests like they're naughty schoolchildren. Coming out with the most conceited ridiculous rubbish based on his own experience, half his advice he isn't even qualified to express. The guys just a radio DJ. There are two sides to every story but Kyle only ever focuses on how much exploitation he can squeeze into 10 minutes. I also pity the people who actually agree to appear on his slot, whole things a freak show. My channel gets flicked at the mere gimpse of his name on a digital menu listing.

Have to agree with Tom - a very well-expressed, almost violently well-expressed critique. Jeremy is certainly no thinking man - he is a very angry idiot who idealises many of the more baneful sexual stereotypes of our time. But men certainly do come off worse on the show. His own action-obsessed view of reality, where men's lives can only be justified in relation to what they do and whose inner realies are completely ignored is enforced with truly shameful confidence. Life becomes a functionalist, soulless vacuum. I can imagine that a lot of good but jaded, miserable people go on that programme having done some ostensibly bad things to fundamentally rotten people and after a tornado of abuse, in which Kyle unleashes all his inner furies, return home to their modest homes with eggs splattered all over their windows. I always think of the WB Yates quote, I'm probably paraphrasing
<br/>
<br/>'The good lack all conviction. The bad are all passionate intensity.'

When I watch Jeremy Kyle USA, and see him in his element, I feel so proud ti be British!
I lived in the US for 3 years in the late eighties, and a big part of why I returned to England, was the fact that I just could not relate to the Americans, wregarding their "round the houses" way of expression.
Jeremy, gets straight to the point, and says exactly what these guests on his show need to hear!
But what I like most about. The show is when the camera points to the audience, and the expression on their faces.which says, wow, this man is clever, articulate, confident and is not fazed or intimidated by anyone! Love you Jezza for telling it like it is! X
