His brave, honest and modest personality shines through every page. (read more)

This is an autobiography of a Detective Sergeant in the Royal Ulster Constabulary, over 30 years from the early 1970s. The book gives an excellent insight into the work of the RUC, and to the internal strife between the CID and Special Branch. It is an excellent read for those interested in policing or the Northern Ireland 'troubles'. (read more)
