i have had my spa now for 18 months it still works as good as the day i first installed it i dont put it away at all in the winter because its in the winter its at its best i keep mine running at 40 degrees all the time i have even now recently built a surround for it as far as im concerned its brilliant value for money . i think most people have problems with it because they dont keep the PH right and the chlorine pumps dont like hard water .a brilliant product at an even more bralliant price well done bestway keep it up

We bought a BESTWAY LAZY SPA from Drinkstuff. We used it from June to September.
The heater was always slow to reach temperature and the bubbles were a waste of time. When we packed it away for the winter we noticed that the coatings on both the tub cover and the lid cover were peeling away from the Terylene.
We contacted Drinkstuff who just denied responsibility but past us onto Bestway UK? A rather brusque woman said we must have misused it and said that the warranty was only six months on t ...

Bestway spa -It is alright and good value for the money. I'm on my third pump but they are easy to fix.
If the seal around the top of the filter unit is not sealing it begins pumping air through the water pump.(air can bleed into the filter unit cylinder when running as it runs negative pressure being before the pump). There is a small (about 15cm) plastic shaft that the impeller sits on which is water lubricated. It seizes and then breaks.Pretty easy to replace with a similar sized shaft. Bit o ...

I bought a Bestway Lay-Z-Spa Hot Tub Spa in spring 2008 and I have used it constantly ever since. if the pump has been switched off for a while then it is sometimes hesitant to start, but persevere and it will come on, once on it will run no problem for as long as you want it to. All those people who have given up at the first sign of trouble, hard luck you just blew 400 quid!!

The Bestway Lay-Z-Spa Hot Tub Spa is a really great item and the idea is fantasic and the cost is not really too prohibitive considering the cost of "proper" tubs - great for parties or just to chill out. When they work and are reliable - they are great and can be set up and up to top temperature overnight

If you want to have a spa/jacuzzi and can't run to £2000 or more then the Bestway Spa is a cheap fun and effective piece of kit. It's easy to use, simple to set up and put away for winter. As with all garden pool equipment you need to maintain the water to a good standard. This can be tricky but you get used to what to do and the quantities of chemicals to be used etc.
The pumps appear to be very prone to early failure, however this could be partly due to water ingress beneath the control ...

I agree with the other reviewer that conditioning the water can be a bit tricky, but let's face it, compared to a Catalina, Beachcomber, Arctic Spa etc etc , the Lay Z Spa is really a tough paddling pool with a hairdryer attached... but I love mine to bits and I am in my third year of using it. There are no jets to speak of - simply an air blower pushing air through a ring of holes around the tub - but nevertheless, it is relaxing and effective enough. More like a jacuzzi than a hot tub. I'm ...

The pump on our Bestway Lay-Z-Spa Hot Tub Spa broke (no air jets) after the equivalent of about 5 months use. Unfortunately the pump was 15 months old (the warranty is for 12 months) but as the spa was purchased last winter, only used last summer, and put away for this winter, I reckon we have only had about 5 months use out of it. As far as Bestway are concerned, that's just 'too bad' because the pump is out of warranty. So think very carefully before buying one of these, you may not get the us ...
