The Roberts Sound MP23 equaliser settings need changing to give less emphasis on the bass frequencies. As it is the bass frequencies are excessively emphasised.
Other than this:

Loved the fact that as well as being an iPod doc it also has fm and dab radio and has a cd player. The sound is excellent quality. It also looks fab. It comes with a selection of ipod docs to ensure a good fit. I would strongly recommend this product. It is easy to use. Its small so fits anywhere and fills the room with big sound! Never used my ipod so much!… Read Full Review

Most of the functions are controlled from a neat little remote control, including a 5 position 'equaliser' from which you can select pop, rock, classic… Read Full Review
