Good Points: The computer generation for the dragon was absolutely amazing.

Bad Points: Unfortunately, the dragon couldn't make up for the horrific acting, lame plot, laughable costumes, and overall terrible movie.

General comments: This movie is based off of a series of books written by a teenager. It appears they let a teenager write the screenplay and direct as well. I can't believe I sat through Eragon. The acting was terrible and cardboard. The plot pacing and lack of logic made it impossible to suspend belief long enough to get into the story. And who did the costume design for this thing? It looks like they raided the costume closets of about ten different movies and just threw them together. Young children will probably enjoy the movie just because of the dragon, but this movie was marketed as a "Lord of the Rings" style film, and it doesn't even deserve to be in the same building as that movie.
