    Good Points: AA Rating, user friendly controls


    Bad Points: Poor quality build, parts started to go after 6 months. Voltage suppressant blew up and almost caused a fire in my kitchen. Spring in the door broke twice. The factory is based in Merthyr Tydfil and are part of the same company as Hoover.


    General comments: Candy: The only reason I bought this machine was because the original machine I had ordered, the store could no longer stock so they fobbed this one off on me on the phone. In hindsight I should have asked for my money back.

    I am very satisfied with this Candy CD623 dishwasher for the reasons I stated above. I've always been useless with washing up dishes and this appliance makes me feel so even more! I had the Candy CD623 for nearly two years now... and it has been a trouble free workhorse... considering the fact that it is switched on almost every day. My previous dishwasher (Indesit something or rather) went on the blink after three years of age and it stopped performing as well as when it was brand new after les ...
