This company have taken our property detail information direct from Zoopla - word for word - and then posted it on their own. WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. As an agent who advertises solely on Zoopla I rang to complain and request our property information is removed. I do not want my properties listed on this site. The call was answered by a stroppy female who insisted I leave details for someone to call me back. Will that happen? I doubt it! I have reported this company to Zoopla and Consumer Helpline and suggest anyone with issues does the same. From the other reviews on this website it seems that Netmovers look to charge people for information that is FREELY AVAILABLE ON ZOOPLA AT NO COST. Charging a person to register their details for properties is illegal under the Accommodation Agency Act 1953. The company is registered on the Companies House website; RG NETMOVERS LTD Company No. 07638675 They are not listed under any of the accommodation/lettings/sales businesses. They are listed as ; 62012 - Business and domestic software development 63110 - Data processing, hosting and related activities

I am looking for a flat. 15 minutes ago I had a call from a lady. She left a voice mail with her name and number and I called her back. She sounded disorganised and it took her a while to find my details. She found my details then asked me what I wanted. I said I wanted to arrange a viewing of a property and to know what the costs are in total. She told me the costs and said to view the property I had to pay a membership fee of £59. I've already looked at two properties and didn't have to pay viewing fees, so thought it was a bit dodgy. There was no arguing but she did sound brusque. I told her I would get back to her but since reading these reviews I don't think I will. After her call I looked up her number and an online forum said the call was from netmovers on the number

I asked them to find me a one bedroomed flat as I was selling my property. I paid £56 in April 2013. Hours after paying by debit card my estate agent found me a flat which I accepted. I immediately cancelled the agreement with NetMovers. I was told to email and a refund would be put in place. I have phoned and emailed but so reply and no refund. No work was done on my behalf so they have kept my money, therefore they are in breach of contract. I have not given them any rating as they do not deserve any. I am taking legal advice in this matter and I am like a dog with a bone I don't give up.

How is this company still here? They have been ripping people off for years, taking money from hard working people with false promises and do absolutely nothing in return, surely it's time for these jokers to be on watchdog?

We applied for a house on this site thinking it would go to the agent and got a phone call saying they could get us loads of viewings so stuipidly we paid them £59 pds and never got a call so I phd and emailed them to no avail then they said they couldn't get us a house because no one would take our dog (a black lab )so we can get a refund just send a email which we did and phd them and emailed them and still nothing I assume we wont see our money which my husband works hard for and we are really angry that we were so stupid! these people have no respect for other people and i don't understand how they have not been stopped . Ijust hope somebody does the same thing to them and they will see how it feels but then again people like that just don't CARE !In future I will always check reviews before doing these things again.

I was promised an apartment by friday the 6th of September, which meant they had 5 days to find me something. They told me when I registered that money will be refunded if they didn't find a suitable place. They got me a couple of viewings where 2 out of three was taken before I got to see them. They now said that they did their job by getting me viewings and I will not get refund. The person I was talking to was extremely rude and interrupted me every 3rd second. What did I pay for?

i contacted NetMovers to find me a suitable property as i was relocating. they told me to £59.99 to register then within 3 to 5 working days they would find me a suitable place. two days later they contacted me saying that they have find a flat,i went for the viewing but i was so disappointed as it was in a bad condition and very dirty from the outside, no space inside at all.i contacted them back saying could you find me another property because i did not like the flat, she said someone will contact me,they never did,in rang them again, they said the same thing. Until now they did not contacted me. they are a rip off,i will never recommend them to any of my friends.

I don't recommend them if you need to find a property. They arrange wrong appointments and they take your money for nothing. I called a few times and even send e-mails and they never sort something out. Avoid them if you are clever. I only gave one star because I had to give minimum one.

Never ever use NetMovers! Please please please, do yourself the biggest favour - don't ever use netmovers. They'll take your money - £59, and all you'll get will be the most shoddy, terrible service - EVER! You can do much better by sourcing properties yourself. The company is very inadequate in every regard. If you have a problem, expect an incredibly rude representative to argue with you on the phone! And never ever expect a refund - really - I'm not kidding! The most awful company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. DO NO USE NETMOVERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - YOU'LL REGRET IT! :((

Whatever you do, do not use this company! They charged me £59 to register and then sent me details of a letting company that I had to contact myself with 2 properties that were both unsuitable according to my criteria (I asked for a 3 bedroom house and both properties had 4 bedrooms). After a week of no contact I tried to ring and ask if there was any further success. The first call went through and my call was answered but then immediately disconnected; the second call I placed was then answered by a very rude woman who told me that she needed to turn on her computer to check the status of my application! She told me she would call back. She did call back and told me they had suggested 2 properties, to which I replied both were unsuitable and she said rudely that they were within my budget and that they were therefore suitable. I asked to adjust my preferences so that it was for a 3 bedroom house only, for which she attempted to charge me £9.99. I hesitated and she simply said 'think about it and call me back'. She then hung up on me. I am now trying to search for properties myself, and am having significantly more success, but am very annoyed I wasted £59 on such a useless site.

They have failed to set up my client with any viewings, never contacted her, when she contacted them they were rude to her (including hanging up on her), and they have now refused her a refund. They took £10 more from her account than agreed and did Nothing for the money. This has been going on for 4 months. Every time I call they say something different - she will be refunded in 28 days/ different reasons why she cant be refunded. Today I was told by one customer service worker (who had previously said she could be refunded and to expect the refund in 28 days) that my client cant have a refund as it is not possible as my email I sent requesting a refund was rejected, i asked who makes that decision and who I can talk to, I was told whether someone gets a refund is automatically decided by a computer, when I explained that a computer cannot read emails and work out whether my client is eligible for a refund he said I should stop 'trying to be clever'. They change their story every time and my client has essentially lost £58 which she cant afford to loose - DO NOT USE THEM!

After sending Net Movers an online inquiry form for a local property, they phoned back asking for a payment of £39.00 to view the property. And asked if I was a student or on any sort of benefits. I hardly heard anything she was saying and as I was out at the time, and could not clearly hear the phone operator and advised her to call back later. When I returned home, I phoned a local agent who I had also seen the property advertised with, and on their website the property was 'Let agreed'. The lady explained that the property had been let and the tenant was moving in on Friday (of that week) she said she had never heard of 'netmovers' and the property was officially off the market. When a lady called back from Net Movers, her first words were ' Hi Miss XXXX shall we process your payment? have you got your details ready?' I did not know anything about the company at this point, and there had been no explanation why I had to pay £39.00 over the phone. I quickly told her, we had found somewhere and ended the phone call. I was confused by the company and the pushy payment requests, so I got my partner to call back to figure out what sort of company this was, and what was going on. A different guy answered the phone and said the property was available to let, and we were wrong. When confronted about the numerous bad reviews online he said, 'well they're just reviews aren't they?' My partner put it to him that why would we give our card details over the phone, for a payment to be made to view a property that was no longer available, also by this time the payment had gone up to £49.00. When my partner started asking in more detail about the business, the phone operator became awkward and started stuttering then hung up. I would avoid this company at all costs, their fees seem to change depending on the agent you are speaking to, and they can't seem to tell you what you get for your money. Avoid at all costs.

Called up about a house that was interested, the guy I spoke to said to register first and then someone would get in touch with me re the property. Been nearly 8 weeks and still no calls or emails, I have had to Constantly call to find out what was happening and every time I will be told a different story don't waste your time or your money with them I've asked for a refund I'm going to wait till Tuesday or Wednesday to see what happens and then hopefully take it from there and don't waste your time guys you're better off spending that £50 on the drinks and you're travelling money to go and view the properties yourself. Don't trust the company to do your job for you I'm sure you can do better job yourself. I think if the property that you are interested is available then a fee should be paid no just take the fee and then not get in touch re the property.

I contacetd Netmovers to enquire about two properties they had up for rent. An advisor by the name of [name removed] called me back stating that I need to pay £39.95 for her to make arrangements for me to veiw properties. At this point I specifically asked if the two properties I enquired about were still available but I wasn't given any answer until the £39.95 was paid. During teh conversation I specifically mentioned that I needed a property with 0.5 mile of a local school my kids were attending; that was my priority and I wouldn't be viewing any other properties further away. A few days later I called netmovers a number of time and finally I got through a person by the name of Jane. She arranged without my consent for me to view a property 3.9 miles away from that school, I asked her what happened to the other 2 properties and I was just not getting any answers, finally after a lenthy conversation I'm told the 2 properties had been taken a long time ago and she tried to convince me to view this property that she had arranged which is 3.9 miles away from the post code. After some debate I was put through [name removed] and was told that if I don't view the property arranged then they would not look for any other properties for me and I would loose the £39.95 I paid. And then she says that she recored 0.5 mile from LE5 instead of LE5 6AD so I told her if that was the case then there are many properties I can go and view and get without paying this £39.95. I phoned back a day later to complain to Customer Services that I was unhappy and angry about this arrangement and wanted my refund but they told me that I was not eligable as a property viewing has been arranged for me. Do not use this company, they take your money and then they arrange a some viewing far away from where you actually need it so that you no longer can receive your refund and if you do not attend the viewing then they don't look for any other properties and you still loose the money. Their database is way out of date and they also seem to make up lies to get themselves out of trouble!

appeal to anyone looking to rent a HOUSE/FLAT do not pay a penny to THEM. i paid £29.99 on the 10TH of january with a promise of finding a 1 bedroom flat within 14 days GUARANTEED.. they never called me . i called them several TIMES, the same answer they are still LOOKING. then on the 21ST of march i got an email "CONGRATULATIONS start cancelling your bills and get ready to move to your FLAT, call us for DETAILS" i was so happy i told all my friends that i got a flat at LAST. next day when i called netmovers they told me the congratulatory message does not mean they found me a FLAT, it meant that i have been removed from their system since ive been on their file for over 2 MONTHS. anyone with a similar story should contact me with the refenrence no that netmovers gave THEM.

YES YOU ARE RIGHT, NET MOVERS ARE 100% RIP OFF IMO. I AM MENTALLY DISTURTBED BECAUSE OF THEM, THEY DID THE SAMETHING. FIRSTLY MADE ME A MEMBER THEN TOOK MONEY AND GUARANTEED ME HOUSE, BUT THEY NEVER EVER CALLED, AFTER I CALLED THEM THEY SEND ME AN EMAIL FOR A 1 HOUSE THAT WASNT IN MY REQUIREMENTS THAT I HAVE ALREADY TOLD THEM, AND THAT WAS ALL FROM THEM, SO I CALLED THEM FOR REFUND, THEY TOLD ME TO EMAIL TO CUSTOMER SREVICES. I EMAILED THEM LOTS OF TIME. AND AFTER A YEAR THEY SAID, WE HAD DONE WORK ON YOUR FILE SO NO REFUNDS, THEN I EMAILED THEM AGAIN THAT I WILL CONTACT FINANCE SERVICES AUTHORITY, AND THEY SAID THEY STILL NOT REFUNDING.
