Good Points: Large discounts now available as they are bringing out a new 4.7 litre engine and revised suspension.
Bad Points: Suspension is slightly on the firm side for longer journeys.
General comments: The Aston Martin Vantage does not quite have the driver involvement appeal of the Porsche 911 Carrera S but has charms all of it's own. Great engine noise and possibly the best looking car on the road. Looks like Aston Martin have resolved much of the reliability problems encountered on the early DB9s.
The roadster is as good as the coupe, suffering little from the loss of the roof while allowing occupants to enjoy the engine noise properly. Removing fuse 22 allows the exhaust to remain open so that the noise can be heard across the full rev range rather than just over 4000 revs. Aston Martin offer a switch so you can be kind to the villages you pass through on your travels.
Sport Shift is great. Much better than the auto box on the DB9 in my opinion. It adds to the character of the car.
