Have waited about 4 weeks for a repair to my line.No engineer has been to check the line dispite assurances they would repair within a week.Totally untrustworthy company.Ofcom needs urgently to investigate this company that abuse their market dominance.

Recently moved back into Hull from the sticks,where we tried Sky and BT..both pretty good. Got the You View box from Humax 150 channels,some with good HD and happy. Took advantage of the lighstream deal,moderately faster internet, but knocked out the Humax channels, down to 60. We rang KC helpline,got pushed onto Humax..back to KC.No one could actually be bothered,backwards and forwards..getting more and more dissatisfied. 3 and a half months on and the replacement box is exactly the same as expected,I have been told that an engineer will cost £120 for a call out !!!for a service that has been paid for but isn't satisfactory and hasn't worked properly.If i could take the 1 star off my review I would do so. Apalling,Get your act together .

My so called 10mbp broadband has been very slow and disconnecting every minute or so.Karoo promised no more than 5 working days. After 5 working days they 'repaired the problem' and my speed 'increased to 1mbs. Then it has stopped again.Now Karoo want me to wait another 5 working days. Much much business down the drain.They have cost my business and many others a fortune.This compant should be closed down as they are only an ISP in name. we cannot choose anyone else, regardless of what people say as Krapoo (as they are known to locals) monopolise the exchange and cause it to be too expensive as a reality. My internet connection fails all the time. I rang the help service and he said he had checked the reason why and said he could tell it was the router. I was persuaded to buy a new router (£35) and lo and behold it is probably worse now than it used to be. More calls and different excuses all the time. This company is a complete joke. I get cut off from the internet several times a day. I'm sure Karoo must be run by a set of Amateurs. They do have a monopoly on internet service for Hull and the area around, they deliberately over price line rental to other ISP providers to keep exclusivity-there aught to be a law against that. Sick and tired of Karoo's broadband and there customer service. I thought it was only me that this problem. I rang them up and the guy said he would do a check to see what the problem was. He said my router was too old and a new one was needed. I bought a new one for about £35 and guess what its still cutting out. More phone calls and a different reason every time. Karoo know there is no real opposition, so why try.

I have been with KCL for a month, my account STILL isn't registered and the system wont let me, i received a bill for triple my monthly cost which i could understand if i had gone over my limit but haven't even come close they have also charged me for calls, i don't have a land line in my apartment. I don't pay for this broadband as my dad pays for it but the thing is. It is so slow. It's hard to not curse. Whenever I go and stay in Sheffield I love it there. Why? Cause I love the internet and they have Sky's BT, something that SHOULD be here. KC stands for Kentucky's Crud(yeah sounds like Kentucky fried chicken lol). i share a server with my friend in Essex who pays £15.00 a month for Fibre, it takes him seconds to upload files that takes me up to 20 mins for the same size, why are people of Hull not allowed the choice like every other town in the country?????? Kingston says they are rolling out Fibre and have been for 2 years now, but only about 2% of households can get it, more proof of hot air from a company which has the Monopoly. worst ever internet provider in the history of internet providers, but do i have any choice?
