I don't normally write reviews, but my daughter took the first part of her entrance exam, and she said that KSOL really helped her. We signed up to the 3 month programme. We had a couple of queries to start with, but they were resolved quickly. Their support and feedback really help both me and my partner to concentrate on the subjects that she had problems with.
I would not hesitate to recommend KSOL. Regardless if she passes or not, she has become much more confident at school. Hopefully I will post back with the outcome in a few months.

We found KSOL by accident 4 months ago. We wish we'd found it sooner. Our daughter has been doing the 3 month intensive program for the KE's 11 plus in Birmingham. She really enjoyed doing the tests (mostly!) and enjoyed the points bit of competition. We were very impressed with how her marks and confidence has gone up during these months. I can't think of a better way to study, my son enjoyed the daily tests and we both found the explanations easy to follow. I chose this method of study over a personal tutor both because of the quality of the material and the cost. I have recommended it to my friends and four of them have signed up for this year. In addition to my son passing his Kent test with flying colours, this study had prepared him thoroughly for the coming year at grammar school.

By the end of the KSOL year we felt very sad to leave the classes. The children who attend the tutoring centre help each other and get along well. They are all bright and want to learn.
KSOL prepared my son for the 11+ by concentrating on exam technique in addition to subject matter. His progress in one year, particularly in Maths, was outstanding.

Everyone at KSOL was so helpful and supportive, my son really enjoyed ksol online and the extra support in the test centre. They prepare for the unexpected and do a lot to boost their confidence, which I feel is really important. I would reccommend KSOL to other people and would definately use again for my other children.

The on line tests and extra support sessions covered a comprehensive range of subjects and prepared the children for unexpected. They really boost the childrens confidence and make the sessions enjoyable. My son overall work at school really improved.
The work and support that ksol provide was invauable in preparing my child for the 11+, but more importantly his confidence was boosted and he enjoyed doing it. I would recommend to friends and use again for my other children.

My main concerns when choosing a tuition centre for our daughter was that she would enjoy it, she wouldn't feel intimidated, she wouldn't feel like a failure if she didn't pass the 11+ and it would have some academic benefit. KSOL exceeded our expectations on all points. She now has a positive attitude to learning and fantastic self-confidence. We are so pleased KSOL was recommended to us by a friend about 2 years ago. We now have one daughter who goes to our first choice grammar school and our eldest son who is prepared for the coming exam on 8th November. Even if he doesn't get in, we don't have a bad thing to say about KSOL, the staff have been nothing more than helpfull in every respect. Great service, queries all answered very promptly. I would say the points proved to be invaluable. They motivated my daughter and she received the family cinema tickets this week. My experience with KSOL has been very positive. The questions and the feedback directed us to the weak points that we needed to work on. I have tried other packages but this had real tutors that I could talk to and the programme had structure which meant that my daughter was progressing at a level she was comfortable w ...

The timing varied greatly between the same subject from week to week. I also found errors on the English tests about pronouns etc.. as well as questions in maths that are occasionally badly worded and difficult to decipher in my opinion.. Unfortunately I do not recommend KSOL.co.uk as an educational website.

Excellent support throughout the programme, there was always someone to answer any questions I had. The trial exams were very beneficial, they really helped us focus on the weaker areas. My son has just taken two 11+ exams over the past two weeks and without the KSOL 11+ programme and friendly support, he would not of been as prepared. We are so pleased with the help and the online work they provided. Well recommend KSOL.co.uk.

The owners of the company seem to be very genuine and nice people, but I think that the combination of helping children and earning money has become too heavily focused on the £ side, at the cost of the quality that they may of had when they first opened their business.

I would not recommend them to a friend - however, my experience was last year - they may have improved since then?

KSOL offer a fantastic service! Having been let down by tutoring companies in the past, it was a refreshing change to meet an education organisation that really cares.

The KSOL website is generally a very clear and well presented site. I no longer had the problem of prompting my child to take a test; he just did it first thing in the morning. The points system seems to encourage him to do his best, as he could then cash the points in for prizes. The centres are managed very well, and students are taught how to become more confident in life....as they say the words "I can't" have been eliminated from my sons' vocabulary.
