  Good Points: heats up within 20 seconds
  up to 230 degrees
  different features
  free dvdreally good presentation
  straightens and curls really well
  slides down your hair easily

  
  

  Bad Points: none apart from the fact that if you want to clamp your hair you have to make sure it is clamped down quite tightly

  
  

  General comments: I think the Remington S1041 Sleek & Curl Straightener is really good over all because it has teflon plates and creates every look it also heats up within 20 seconds.

  With the Remington Sleek & Curl Straightener, you cannot clamp down on hair - it is very loose unless you are nearly touching the plates or you have to use 2 hands and hold the end every time you pull hair through. Also, I have never had a straightener leave so many marks at the start - very frustrating.
  
  I would not recommend this flat iron.

  They are brilliant straighteners.
  They easily glide over the hair.
  Great for curling aswell.
  Dvd included which shows you how to do different styles with your straighteners.
  Everybody compliments me on my hair!

  It is a must have - I wanted GHD hair straighteners very badly but could not afford one and believe me the Remington does the same job. So if you don't have the money for a GHD go for a Remington

  The Remington S1041 Sleek & Curl Straightener is a very good product. It is very easy to use, creates curls very easily, and it is ready to use in 1 minute, which is great; etc. I totally recommend it.
  
  I don't like the digital temperature display because it only had 6 levels, but that is the only bad point I found.
  
  It's not cheap, but it's not too expensive. It has two functions (in general); curls and straight, and for me this is the best hair straightener I've ever had! ...
