Bad Points: The graphite shafts are an inch longer. I choke down an 1-1/2 inches. Hey that really isnt bad. I really have nothing bad to say. If you are a 20+ handicap and serious, get these. You will get better.

General comments: I own too many sets of MacGregor M565s to mention. I have sold and played all clubs. I am not claiming these are as good as Titlest, Mizuno, KZG, Taylor made. I am saying they are the best irons ever made IMO.

These clubs have minimal offset are very attactive and are made of the finest components available. MacGregor irons are the most underrated. Very high quality standards and components. Excellent appearance and setup. Minimal offset and mid-size heads. Straight and long. The graphite YS shafts are about as accurate as steel in my opinion. That is the only time I have stated that. Can work the ball either way - but bias is straight.

Bought these MacGregor clubs from one of the discount golf shops after speaking to one of the pros. What a discount, superb value for money and the best clubs I have ever used. High shots and soft landings. Great distance too if you have the swing speed. Also very advisable to get measured properly including shaft length, the golf shop I bought from did'nt check for length, very annoying as it cost me more money, but total price still very good value for this club.

MacGregor V-Foil M565 irons are a great value for money, quite cheap but don't feel like it. When my swings something like i can hit these consistently and they are my first set of clubs where i've had an idea of my yardages with each club.
