After years of using chemical hair dyes I decided to 'go' natural and dyed my hair with henna last week. Was supposed to be dark brown, came out reddish - ginger which I wanted to avoid and absolutely hate! Wanted my hair to be cool brown not reddish brown. Was really devastated as I knew that if you died your hair with henna you had to wait for it to grow out, otherwise it might come out green...it's absolutely not allowed to put chemical dyes on henna...so I went to my organic shop in London and found this lovely Naturtint Permanent Hair Colou. They advised to do a test before I die the whole hair which I did. It was perfectly fine so I put in on! Now I'm enjoying my cool dark brown colour - it's wonderful and looks so natural! No horrible ammonia smell either! I highly recommend it. I wish I had found it earlier!

I have been using Naturtint for 4 years and would not do it any different. Color matches my natural color, but most of all , the texture of my hair remains very natural after all these years.

Easy to follow instructions. I used the chestnut 4I and its given a really natural, all over colour - even the grey bits! If it gets on your skin it wipes off easily

Gives a good overall colour and is easy to apply to the hair. I used
Naturtint to cover up roots and previously coloured hair and it worked a treat.

i usually use 3/4 of a box of Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour to cover my very grey roots every 3 weeks. This product offers excellent coverage and doesnt make your eyes stream when applying due to it being ammonia free !The multiplyer conditoner does what it says on the bottle too ! definately noticeably. thicker hair after application. Well worth the money !

I love this hair dye, Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour covers my grey plus is kind to my hair, which is naturally very dry and course so not the easiest of (grey) hair to cover! I have to re-apply to the roots every month.

I've been using Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour for years, but sadly the two health food stores I've been buying it from have closed down, which is why I stumbled across these reviews, as I know have to buy it online it seems.

I am a very satisfied customer, it is easy to use, a fair price, and has no harsh chemicals. I recommend giving it a try, they have a lot of colours to choose from.

Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour is a natural, ethical choice. I'm a medium-dark blonde naturally, and wanted to lighten my hair A LITTLE. Hmm...first I tried "honey blonde," and I came out a bright strawberry blonde. Not cool. I tried to call the help-line, but no answer. So I tried again with "light ash blonde." There's nothing "ash" about it. My hair is orange. I could understand if my hair was really dark at first. But it's not. TOmorrow, I'll go out and buy something semi-permenant ...

In the quest for a non-PPD hair dye which covers grey, I gave the Naturtint light range a go. It was very disappointing for me - did not cover early grey and seems prohibitively expensive. Wouldn't recommend.

I have a problem with alopecia and my hairdresser recommended using a vegetable-plant based product, the hair that does regrow is pure white and this product covered it without any problems at all, in fact I would go as far as saying that I will continue using this and not my hairdresser again for colouring in the future. I would give a top mark of 11 out of 10!

I was recommended this by my hairdresser and was slightly dubious to begin with as my hair felt like straw from over dying....not sure what's in this product but WOW! My hair is SOOO silky soft and everyone has been commenting on how shiny it is. The colour is wonderful.

fab colour, great shine and made my hair super soft. No smelly odour either and very easy to apply.

Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour is a natural look when finished. I have received compliments about my hair and color, thinking it was natural hair color, not lightened. It is easy to use.

Excellent! I give it a 10. It is a natural hair color without chemicals and I have received many compliments about my hair and color.

no odor, does not leave color on scalp, only the hair, no ring around the face color left for us dark hair people, leaves hair soft and best...colors those ugly gray hairs of this 51 year old and last as long as going to the salon, oh, and saves me 40.00 each month!

Have been using Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour for only 9 month and the condition of my hair has greatly improved! I use 8A - and I love it. I tend to go 'orange' and between the ASH cutting the orange - As ASH Colors Should - I find the multiplier cuts the brassyness also! I have told many people about the product.

I have been using Naturtint for a number of years now and find it to be an excellent product. I had to stop using ordinary colorants due to developing an allergic reaction to them. I have a lot of grey and did not want to 'go grey' at my age. I have never had any allergic reaction to Naturtint and it covers all grey wonderfully. I receive a lot of positive comments about the colour-even from my hairdresser! I highly recommend it.

All the reviewers here keep saying Naturtint is "all natural" with no chemicals--in my opinion NOT TRUE! It still has PPD and hydrogen peroxide. However, it has no ammonia like most hair colors, and the company tries to use lower levels of the chemicals. No permanent hair color works without the PPD, unfortunately, unless you go for henna, which is unpredictable and messy. I suggest those of you who are interested should check out the "Skin Deep" website, which ranks haircolors according to ...

As above, it was easy to use and the shine was brilliant. Really good idea having the little bottle of shine spray to use afterwards.

Gorgeous tones, no smell, lovely colours to choose from, doesn't turn your hair green or orange which is what I first thought of vegetable dyes. Brilliant product wish I had found it years ago

Using Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour after I have just finished chemotherapy and found my hair grown back quite grey. Unable to use ammonia or peroxide of course so chemo nurses recommended naturtint and i have used it twice now ( 10A) pleased with results.
