Good Points: Looks good, well engineered and thought out. Tools excellent, particularly the hard surface brush which glides over the floors. The steel extending tubes are robust and accommodate all heights. The curved tube is excellent for on top of cupboards etc. Turbo brush very efficient. Variable power setting cover all requirements. The flexible tube is light to use together with smooth casters makes for easy manoeuvrability. Very quiet and well balanced motor.
Bad Points: If you value quality products you will be buying more from Miele and you will get what you pay for.
General comments: If like me you dislike vacuuming the Miele Solution Hepa 5000 is the machine to buy, it makes light work of the job and is head 'n' shoulders above the other products I've used.

Wish we'd had a Miele Solution Hepa 5000 years ago and not bothered with the Dyson, which in comparison is plastic junk. (It's a shame because the bag less idea was good, but the design and quality poor). Miele definitely rules.

This is a great vacuum cleaner if you realise that the two highest power settings are really much too powerful as they make it almost impossible to move the cleaning head over the carpet as the suction is so great and they tend to make the vac spew out lots of hot air and tell you the bag or filter needs changing when it doesn't. The settings 3 or 4 from the lowest are perfectly adequate for normal cleaning and still pull the carpet off the floor! The combined bag/filter change indicator is real ...
