Good Points: Fun to shoot. Excellent workmanship.
Bad Points: A bit too heavy to handle quickly.
General comments: No regrets for purchasing the Ruger GP100. It will have a permanent home here. .I'm a bit older now and need another revolver that's
lighter for quicker handling so will be purchasing a Ruger for sure.

My first Ruger GP 100 was a 4 inch adjustable sight pistol. Stainless. First, I'm not wild about shiny guns. Second, I wanted a 3 inch barrel. I later traded for a fixed sight, 3 inches. It was perfect even if it was stainless. Fit nicely in my pocket. After I de-horned the hammer it was easy to draw from a pocket. It shot right where the sights looked with 148 grain jacketed hollow points. And, it was six shot. It was another of my many wishi'dakept guns.
