Good Points: It's a Beretta, and it came with a Crimson Trace Grip. I've always loved Berettas.

Bad Points: I understand that it would be hard to implement an extractor since it has a flip-up barrel, but it does concern me a little. I also don't like that extra mags are $25+.

General comments: Just got it for my wife and we haven't taken it out, yet (it's too cold for her). I'm a little concerned about the performance without an extractor, but I'm sure that will disappear once we take it out.

THe Beretta Tomcat is a great little gun, i love using it and have so much fun with it

The oversized trigger guard on the Beretta Tomcat makes this tiny powerhouse easy to fire. Overall its got Beretta's fine fit and finish. Note: Do not remove grips for cleaning as Beretta suggests. I ignored this and ended up losing the spring and catch for my safety. Beretta sent me new parts free of charge. I carry mine in an ankle holster and forget its there. Actually forgot to remove it before launching my boat one day and wore it into the Susquehanna river.
