“Have had a stainless Beretta Tom Cat for a long time....”

Written on: 07/10/2010

Have had a stainless Beretta Tom Cat for a long time. Been in law enforcement for a long time and carry a Colt Commander 45 as my side arm with a Sig 232 as my back-up. The BTC is not intended for law enforcement purposes but makes a handy weapon to carry when I'm off duty. I carry Gold Dot ammo in it and it shoots very good. Never had a mis-fire. One of your readers commented on racking the slide of this weapon to chamber a round. Its not intended for this and thats why the tip up barrel… Read Full Review

“ The Beretta Tomcat is a old design and will only...”

Written on: 30/08/2010 by Bubba lll (4 reviews written)

The Beretta Tomcat is a old design and will only fire standard loads, no hot stuff, never the less, its a good shooter. the short barrel makes it easy to tuck in waistband or front pocket. 32cal gives it a mild recoil but it has a very long trigger. forget about racking the slide, to hard, the tip-up barrel makes it unnecessary. Add a clip-draw to the slide, tuck it in and forget about it, very easy to conceal, ammo is expensive, but its not a range gun so a box of shells last a long time… Read Full Review

“The oversized trigger guard on the Beretta Tomcat...”

Written on: 18/12/2007 by fwkluck (1 review written)

The oversized trigger guard on the Beretta Tomcat makes this tiny powerhouse easy to fire. Overall its got Beretta's fine fit and finish. Note: Do not remove grips for cleaning as Beretta suggests. I ignored this and ended up losing the spring and catch for my safety. Beretta sent me new parts free of charge. I carry mine in an ankle holster and forget its there. Actually forgot to remove it before launching my boat one day and wore it into the Susquehanna river… Read Full Review
