I like the weight, comfort of the grip in my hand, balance and accuracy out of the box of the Kimber Pro CDP II .45 Auto. I'm a subdued color, low profile type of weapon owner so the contrast of the black and silver didn't really excite me but I will get over it.

I have spent over 20 years in law enforcment. I have fired and owned many differnet types of weapons. I have had the occasional though rare malfunction in those twenty years. I decided to buy a Kimber CDP II and experienced more jams/malfunctions in one night of shooting than I have had or been wittness to in my life! Kimber specifies that you should put 500 rounds thru the gun to break it in. I shot the required 500 rounds during which I never had one complete magazine fired without a malfuncti ...

I am a career Police Officer for a major Police Department. I bought this Kimber Pro CDP II .45 Auto as a duty carry and back up weapon, as well as an off duty gun. The poor reliability, however, got mine banned by my agencies gun smith, due to feed and ejection issues and overall reliability. I traded it back to my gun dealer for a different model Kimber (SIS) and now carry it without hesitation. Avoid the "Tupperware" polymer Kimber!

Beautiful firearm, but it jammed with the first magazine and continued to do so until I returmed it on warranty. Jammed with Kimber and Wilson mags. Jammed with four different makes of 230 gr. FMJ and two makes of JHP ammunition. It jammed on the first round out of the mag, rounds in the middle of the mag and consistently (9 of 10) on the last round with Wilson mags. I'm disappointed that I've bought a firearm that has yet to work properly. We'll see what it's like when it comes back, but for $1 ...

Its a nice gun. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.
    Never jammed yet. Very accurate...........

I guess for some of us, our lives are worth a grand!! Others dont blink spending it on a car or a nice suit. But neither will save your life in a gunfight!!!!
