The Crosman 1377 has given outstanding accuracy at 20m to me, specially at the first shots of a session, maybe cause of the temperature of the pump system, but anyway that happens to me with almost every gun I use. This also can be caused by the arms getting tired and shaky due to the pumping effort.

I don't consider the loose grips to actually be a problem. Like one author said about it: its probably more an aesthetic problem than a functional one. What I observed to happen is that once you shoot the correct way (after reading some shooting manuals or so), or in a competition style, for some reason one doesn't even notice the grip movement and the grip actually feels like a professional one; the overall shape of the grip area is good. Not confortable at the beginning, but pretty much adecuate once you have some shooting experience with it or with other guns.

The sights, the sights, the sights. As with other Crosman guns I guess, the sigths in this pistol are not very good, but not too bad either. They are mediocre sights. When shooting at 10m it does it too high, even at the extreme point of adjustment. Only way to proceed is to modify the rear sight to allow more movement downwards and be able to aim to the impact point at 10m. This may not be the case for your gun. Other distances are OK for the sight unmodified.

However, this gun shoots very accurately. The barrel is rifled steel, blued for helping rust protection. The pumping is a little unconfortable and can cause elbow pain if too much effort is done, but come on, using the computer mouse does much more harm to the wrist than pumping the gun.

    Thanks for reading.

Completely satisfied with this Crosman 1377 pistol. Sorry now that I discarded the rifle stock that came with mine when I bought it at least 10 years ago. Great being able to determine the power by the number of pumps. I can use it to kill a rat or other varmit that shows up around here.
Since max pumps for power is 10 I find it interesting that others talk about 10-20 pumps - without modification I suspect the system just vents off the excess pressure. 10 pumps will put a BB through a tin ...

The Crosman 1377 is powerfulaccurate for the moneyif you need a 6ftlb pistol on a budget variable power output good for very close range ratting (use the stock extra part available for improved accuracy )no need to buy co2 so much cheaper over time can be useful as a 'finish off gun' when shooting rats with a rifle if the vermin is not killed with the first shot a 1377 fully pumped at point blank range will do the job before the rodent can crawl away as a pump can be charged ready for this (o ...

The Crosman 1377 is a good pistol at US prices. A bit pricey over here in Europe. Great for any kind of plinking but I reckon the sights are too inaccurate for any kind of target shooting or hunting. There's a good power to price ratio. Very quiet even up to 10 pumps compared to any CO2 pistol. Powerful, plenty of mods available.

A lot of air power for the money.Outstrips a lot of popular rifles for power and accuracy.Good safety pin, nice feel to the gun allround.
I found it strange at first to use such a long barreled pistol , its not as heavy as it might look but very well built.Pumping it is not as strenuous as some make out but is time consuming leading to fewer and safer shooting.
Having bought mine new only a week or two ago ive barely fired it 20 times maybe , no more than 30.Its pretty accurate at good distances ...

Overall a superb pistol had an earlier model years ago as a kid and that saw some serious use and as I looked after it well it was flawless.I even took out a cock pheasant with it one saturday in the woods with a fluke headshot, killed it dead outright!!After some years of not owning one and then having another I dont think the fit is as good as the earlier one I had,its good, but the earlier one was better, bit miffed about the grips moving around while pumping it up,I have sone north american whi ...

I have owned my Crosman 1377 air pistol for 5 years. I have put at least 10,000 rounds through this thing! It is very accurate. However I have noticed that if I pump it to 10 pumps it is not accurate. I love this air pistol and it makes me a better shooter overall. I can sit in the backyard and shoot all day long!

I like the one I have, my son and his wife both purchased the same one. Great value for the money, accurate at 30 yards. The only problem I had was that the grip is quite small if you have large hands but the Crosman 1377 is a great air pistol.

I have owned alot of air pistols over the years and my two favorite are the Daisy 717 and the Crosman 1377. The Crosaman is so versatile because it is accurate enough for fairly serious target shooting and powerful enough to take down tree rats when using Crosman Premier Hollow Point pellets. The longer I own this gun the more I love it. i did make a few changes to make is very comfortable...A) Replaced the trigger spring with a lighter one from Ace true Value hardware for a nice, light trigger ...

I love these pistols and have many. I rubberize the plastic grip parts, install one of my ultra light trigger springs for a tiny 1 lb. trigger pull, add a 1/2 inch wide trigger shoe and i also make a front sight hood shroud for the front blade sight to keep the sun glare off (my hood shrouds fit all crosman guns and many other guns as well. I also make holsters for these long 1322 / 1377 pistols. I sell these custom parts regularly to anyone who would like to buy them. Make the gun operate beau ...

I bought this model and went to sight it in the following morning and guess what it was right on the money at 20 yards. All I did was snug down all the screws and I was in business and proceeded outside to dispatch a few pigeons. The gamo rocket pellet was devasting on them with 8 pumps.

Crosman american classsic 1377 pump up pistol.177cal. The most powerful pistol allowed at 600fps per 10 pumps(no co2 needed). Its quiet and fairly accurate. After a lengthy fiddle with sights i had this bang on the money at 25m and could throw a two pound coin over my groups. It did take quite awhile to adjust the sights correctly as they move about a fair bit. But once zeroed, carefully tighten as much as possible and you should have no problems. Its a great pistol for the money at £80is ...

Well, these pistols have been aroung forever.
The major modifications have been the components
    -plastic instead of wood grips
    -awful trigger and trigger pull
-shoddy plastic factory sights that move by themselves
-shoots pellets instead of both pellets and BB's
With all of this being said, this is the COOLEST air pistol out there for the money. All of the above maladies can be remedied with aftermarket parts for pretty cheap!
Still not powerful enough for hunting anything more than the smallest ...

Out of the box it shot to the right about 1 inch but the shots were good groups 2 adjustments later and @ 25 feet I can center in the bulls eye and cover 90% of shots with a quarter. I have 17 air guns both rifle and pistol and this one is best for holes in bullseye. I shoot better with the stock sights on this than 3x9x30 scoped rifles.

They have changed the bolt on the ones you buy now (looks like an improvement with a small bolt handle mine does not have)and now 20 years later they run $60-80 but this is a nice gun with impresive power maybe 500-600fps who knows how much more when you over pump (if you overpump i dought yours will last you over 20 years like mine has without major repair). but DO NOT use this gun to hunt anything but small no very small varmints. i mean its all shot placement but you might shoot a critter 2 ...

The Crosman 1377 is a classic pellet pistol. It is a pneumatic pump, single shot that is perfect for small game hunting or backpacking. It has good accuracy with the 10 inch barrel and is relatively quiet to shoot. The pump design means that you never need to buy Co2 gas, on the other hand, it takes 10 to 20 pumps per shot. I have owned mine for several years. When I first got it I was not impressed but as I used it more, it really grew on me. If you find the right brand of pellets, the accuracy ...
