Good Points: -Large bore, low recoil.
    -Excellent "pointability" and grips.
-Super fast ejection of spent shells.
    -Fast reloading.

Bad Points: -Ammo uncommon and/or expensive.
-Many have been altered to shoot .45 ACP and/or .45 Auto Rim, which generate unsafe pressures.
-Not enough revolvers to go around!

General comments: The Webley Mark VI is undoubtedly the best military revolver ever built, bar none!
It may look ugly, but it's one heck of a gun.
The recoil is low, accuracy very good, and it has an addictive "feel " to it. It's also a rush to break the revolver open and have the shells automatically ejected in an instant. It reloads quick, too.
I've only seen one for sale, and I snatched it up in an instant. I'm looking for more!
This is a very historical gun, and it's a crying shame that most of those imported after WWII have cylinders that were milled down to accept the .45 ACP and/or .45 Auto Rim cartridges.
Fiocchi ammo is available through many of the larger catalog outfits (Midway, etc). The Fiocchi bullet mikes to .452", but is soft lead with a large hollow base, so it is essentially a smokeless Minie ball, easily expanding to fill the .455" bore.
Keep in mind that Fiocchi brass uses small pistol primers.
Don't run full house .45 ACP/.45 AR through the gun! The .455 Webley has a lower pressure than the American .45 calibers.
Every shot of .45 ACP/AR exposes the gun to a proof load. Not good!
I reload the excellent Hornady brass with 255 grain hard cast SWC's and 4.3 grains Unique (max load), and the load seems to work well.
Remember also that the Webley has a bore of .455", while American ammo trends to .451/.452" diameter.
Although the undersized bullets work well for me out to 75-100 yards, I suggest investing in the proper .455" bullet molds.
