Good Points: Classic styling, quality through-and-through, strong collector interest.
Bad Points: No longer produced, costlier than most .357 revolvers.
General comments: Despite the listing under "Air Pistols" the Colt Python is a genuine .357 magnum revolver.
The Python is a legend among those lucky enough to live where owning handguns is allowed. The Python is Colt's ultimate revolver. It is simply one of the finest examples of a double-action revolver ever produced. Neither lightweight nor massive, the Python balances perfectly and its smooth trigger and excellent sights make it a "must-have" for the serious handgun collector. It is truly a remarkable revolver and a tribute to the fine craftsmen at Colt. I would not trade mine in for any handgun now made.
