I just purchused a .22cal Crosman 150 for $50CDN at my local gun shop. The 150 was/is the first version of the Crosman 2240. Eariler models, (earily 1950's, such as mine) had a "one-peice" Breech/barrel desgin. The later models (late 1950's), were a "two-peice" breech/barrel desgin and it would appear as though Crosman decided to stick with the "two-peice" breech/barrel desgin,IE: the 2240, 2250, backpacker, etc. I havent got to actually shoot this gun yet as I need to get a Co2 Cap seal. I'm guessing the power levels are very simaler to the "stock" 2240, which shoots at 480fps max. And I bet its just as accurate as the 2240, if not more. The construstion is much better than the 22xx's as it is all steel. There is no trigger wobbel as with the modern Crosman 22xx's and it feels very crisp with a perfect pull weight. Very Nice muzzel Crown and steel sights as well as a steel saftey pin, only plastic on the gun is the grips, which could easily be replaced with aftermarket wooden 22xx grips. In all I would recomend that any firearm/pellet gun collector get a Crosman 150 should you get the chance. Most people are not awear of the value of the 150 so if your lucky one could be had for $20-$50, which IMHO is a steal deal!

The Crosman 150 is very well built, economical and powerful pistol. This is my favorite gun to have when walking in the woods and just plinking. I traded for a 2nd variant leaker at an airgunshow. I purchased a seal kit for under $20 at the same show. After a home reseal it shoots low 400's on low power for around 45 shots per 12 gram cart. There is a only a slight power increase on high power.
Wadcutters really make the reactive targets jump. It is a first class plinking pistol. The 150 is al ...

I was lucky enough to find a new one from 1958 in it's original box with all the the paper work and instructions, offers ads etc. for twenty five dollars" Today it's at least $ 100.00 or more,I also traded for a very well used and rusty one that still shoots and does not leak.I guess I'm trying to relive my childhood all I need now is the Benjaman which was my first pellet gun. They are harder to find than the Crosman's.I found one in the UK but the shipping cost was over $ 200'00 plus cost of gun ...
