i have had an smk xs19 for 2 years and in that time it has been replaced once and fixed another time all due to a terrible rattling noise inside the gun just above the trigger. i got so fed up i took it apart the other day to find a spot weld has been broken and a piece of the metal circle been stamped into the stock due to the kick of the gun violently shakin the inside of the gun to bits.this has caused a lot on inaccurate shots even at 15 yards.
i would not recommend an smk19 to anyone unless they only want it to work for half a year.

I have had many guns and must say i was quite impressed with this one. The SMK XS19 is pushing out near 11 ft lbs. i got it and put loctite on the screws made sure it was well oiled and i was away. put an old hawk scope on it set it up to 30 yrds and hit a target about 2 inches square almost constantly. admitidly it dosent feel as good as the more expensive guns and has quite a bad kick but its only an air rifle so it wasnt bad. got a bsa lightning and you can tell the diffrence but thats why it ...

You can take out pigeons at 35 yds, but not very consistantly, the following day, i have to re-set the scope, why i dont know ! the worst thing is the recoil ,this is bad, i use the smk xs 19 hunter carbine, with silencer, the silencer works well,

Overall very happy ,now ive got used to it,dont feel that people give it time or are prepared to spend time with it,like most things we buy ,we expect instant results, but for this money its as good as you can buy,and you can spend more and get less believe me,ive done that ,this gun is powerfull, yes it has got recoil, but its not intended for target practice, and we cant all afford logans or air arms or or or.just enjoy it i do,ive got the carbine super grade.

The gun club bought one of these for anyone who wanted to rent one for the day.
To be honest, after a few shots I had enough.
The gun was out of proportion, felt like a toy gun compared to the other 'proper' air rifles on site.
I was shooting a Cometa 300, and the difference is unbelievable. Where the cometa shoots straight, hits hard and feels quality, the sk19 has a rough spring, terrible recoil and handles badly (can you even hold it right due to size?)
We tacho'd it and it got shy over 6 ...

Bought this gun for Christmas so not had chance to go hunting yet. The power seems fine but I have had to adjust the sights (came with the gun) every time I've used it when shooting at targets in the garden, not sure if this is my inexperience or the gun.
