Good Points: Gun comes Zeroed in for military 556 ammo. Has Chrome lined barrel. The best A-15 rifle for the money. Staff at Bushmaster very helpful. Rifle comes in many types. price is higher than DPMS or Olympic Arms whoever you get what you pay for in this. The gun is better than Colt and Armalite only because of the support staff.
Bad Points: Not available in 7.62X39.
General comments: I am a police firearm instructor. For the price, quality and support staff this is my AR-15 style rifle of choice. All gun companies treat government agencies good. Bushmaster treats everyone with same respect and support.
If you the most out of a AR-15 rifle get one that has a piston driven upper. Then you have accuracy of AR-15 and reliability of an AK-47. Bullet choice depends on what you use the rifle for. Same is true of barrel lengths.

My best mate own a bushmaster AR15 full length barrel for a year now and we have put this rifle through its' paces!
The fit and finish is comparable to any higher end model such as the colt. Disassembly and cleaning is more of an issue with an AR15 than it is with an AK or SKS. Many parts, many small parts that foul quite easily and need constant attention. But any shooter should be used to keeping clean firearms.
