fell in love soon as I held it, it just seemed to fit me just like a glove.I was returning to airguns after a spell away of 45 years and how they have changed, was looking for something made in Britain no such luck till I picked up my little german beauty, not to heavy like some other weihrauchs just right in .22 lovely colour to the stock and the bluing was perfect. I must add she was 8 years old but like new. there,s nothing I don,t like at all. In the past I have had webleys and diana.s... (read more)

I found my .177 HW95 through an airgun dealer who was liquidating his stock and closing up shop. This meant that while the price was right for a new gun, there would be no follow up service in the event of trouble. Caveat emptor, and all that. At any rate, the gun arrived nicely boxed and looked good: even bluing, solid, if pedestrian looking, furniture, and a nice heft when shouldered. I had played with several Weihrauchs previously but this is the first of their rifle offerings I've... (read more)

The Weihrauch 95k
I was using a friends 95k all over the summer holidays as I was saving to buy a HW80 to go with my HW77 underlever ive had on long term loan ( good friends ) as I fancied a break barrel rifle this time .
So I was saving for a HW80 when I walked past my local gunshop this morning he had an as new 95k up for sale for £240 plus it came with a new hawke nite eye 3-9x50IR scope and a fleece lined and padded gun slip, so I had to have it .
Well I compared the 77 to a german...

My dad bought this a couple of years back second hand for £250, he shot a few pigeons and plinked a bit, we've encouterd no problems with it. It is powerful, accurate and reliable. I've also bought the rifle, there seems to be no problems with either rifle. Weihrauch certainly lives up to its name and I would trust a German firearm. (read more)

It is a well finished and good value for the money. Easy to handle and to aim, I don't loke too much the rear sight however it does the job if it is combined with the proper front sight diopter, not all are suitable with this kind of rear sight. I am interested in Field Target and target shooting, it is better for the second but not bad for FT, in fact, even that there is another model from Weihrauch which is better for FT, this one is fine too, considering it within the break barrel... I found this review helpful because...it helped me to make up my mind to buy one,it is my main hunting gun up to 35yds it kills every thing i hit right.it`s hw95k .177 it came fitted with a good silencer but a bit to long for the car.ifitted a 4 inch dumpy silencer and a 3x9x50 i/r sight using air arms diabolo field 4.5gr it`s an excellent killing machine.i have`nt had a better springer in 50 years shooting. i`m 60 years young and have shot every thing from catapult up to 303 lee enfield so feel qualified to say for the price (£350 with sight)its a belter.

Hi i have a weihrauch hw95k which i purchased about a year ago. lovely little rifle.Build quality is superb, a long with the bluing. Accuracy is excellent for a springer . The gun does'nt seem to be pellet fussy ,but does seem to prefer to have a taste for super domes and air arms hft.I purchased mine in a .22 cal as i feel it has better stopping capabilities against small pery. The weihrauch silencer works well.Yes you can still here the shot , but its a lot quiter with ,than without..It... Having shot live firing .22 in the army the kick of my recently purchased Weihrauch HW95 12.2" barrel, was of horrifying concern. These thing's dont half kick. But i have massive respect for the air rifle mags i puchased befor buying, thank god i did.One of the old timers did a review of this exact rifle which i only realised once purchased.I was pulling to tight into my shoulder, pulling shots left and right.Once the technic described had been adopted my grouping became superb, the pellets were... An Ideal weapon for out in the field, No bits sticking out to catch in the bushes. I have had mine now for just over nine months and the bunnies and rats don't stand a chance, Kill range for me is about 40 yards. Head shots .Very accurate at this range and powerfull enough to put the biggest bunny down. I love the thing (read more)

I bought the HW95K, with a beechwood stock, LOGUN silencer and 3-9x40 hawke riflescope last week and i am very impressed with the results. When i get the chance to go rabbit hunting im sure that it will deliver to the full, due to superior german engineering. It has performed much better than a friends SMK unerlever. (read more)

I have owned my HW95 in .22 for about 4 years now and it has performed admirably. The punch delivered by the .22 knocks over even the biggest bunnies with little effort, and it is suffice to say that when something gets hit by this rifle it stays hit. The engineering is typical Weihrauch; simple and superb with taken for granted reliability. Modern scopes make the accuracy even better, but the recoil and 'twang' takes a bit of getting used to. Make sure you hit with your first shot because... (read more)

I purchased a springer as an alternative to my soulless pre charged air rifle..after reading all the good reviews on here about the hw97k, i managed to find a mint second hand 97k in a good gun shop, but i found the 97k so disappointing, it was way too heavy and way too loud...the shop had given me 7 days trial so i took it back, still wanting a springer..and purchased the new screw cut weihrauch 95k with the new hw silencer, The 95k is a much better gun in my opinion.. it is just the right... I agree with this review because...I myself have two HW95k`s one is 10 years old and the newer one is a screw-cut model. You couldn`t wish for a more solid and practical springer air-rifle.

I found this review very helpful because...I am looking one my self, i have had the hw35,77,97,80 some time ago,all very good guns, butjust to loud and heavy,...to my s400 air arms carbine 177 which is very light because i have made it so due to my bad arm so it has to be light and do a good job, like my s400 and i will not need my diving bottle all the time, when i have no air. I do rembber i had my best kills with a HW.80 17 rabbit,so i no what they can do so on that note i will have a drive down to my local gun shop in hull buy my new HW.95

Weihrauch having lightened off their traditionally over engineered designs caught my eye with the 95k in .177 (4.5mm.) Always nice to have a back up for when the pneumatics let you down or you simply want the pleasure of old school plinking.
As all UK air rifle shooters should, I chronoed the rifle to check power levels. A respectable 11.4 ft/lb's with 7.9 Crossman Premiers, so worth taking to try and off a few rabbits too. I tried various other ammunition but none gave such favourable...

Purchased my 95K (.177) a month ago, it has the moderator fitted as standard and what a good job it does. It has to be the quietest springer I have ever heard. This gun is very accurate out to 40 yards and I am amazed how little adjustment is required in 'hold over' anywhere from 5 - 40 yards. Shame there is no open sight option but with the right scope it is difficulty to criticize this gun for quality, power or accuracy. If you want to go walk about with a sling or fit a bipod, as with... (read more)

looking for something made in Britain no such luck?
AirArms are made in Briatin and are fine weapons. A TX200 is every bit as good a rifle as a HW95 too, arguably better.
