Great gun got it last week and took it out the next day shot seven rabbits from respectable distances (30-40yrds) was using H&N ftt love the gun i also a a bsa supersport but is in no leage to this. i love the accuracy and power, weight is not an issue dont be put off stops recoil just get a sling loading is good and just something to get used to the fixed barrel helps with accuracy! love the gun and if you do get it save up a bit more a get a v-mach tuning kit!!!!!!!!!!

this gun (weirauch hw97k) has many good points including-accuracy,power,range,recoil,stock,scope rail
bad points-um......none that i can think of. accuracy is extreme i can put 3 pellts in a 1/2" grouping at 30yrds and a 1 1/2" grouping at 65yrds(on a very still day),power is very good it will kill pretty much any quarry up to about 50yrds,the other day i was in the fields and i did a range test it was sigted for 35yrds and i didnt have to use the mildots until 60yrds and i shot at a 5" target a ...

this air rifle (weihrauch hw97k) is extremely good i bought it for £320 and although it didnt come with any sight but had a nice silencer instead which for a scoped gun is a lot better for mid-low mounted scopes. at first i hated the gun i was hitting 2" groups st 20 yards, untill i changed the pellets to air arms field the grouping is now 3/4" at 30 yards. recoil is also a very good point because the gun is heavy. the only bad point about the gun
is its weight so hold it in the shop befor ...

For the money it is a great gun.Compact and east to shoot. The trigger is superb. Very well built, and accurate. The 77/97 have an excellent design with the safety catch being just by the trigger so the thumb can switch it without disturbing your shooting position.Loading is an easy process to.The stock s got a great cheek piece and its comfortable to hold.
It is heavy but well balanced.Weirdly enough,it is heavier than my 77 which is old but great to shoot. Got a bit of a crack, not the quietest.

Shot a rabbit at about 50 metres and killed it stone dead. This was out of the box and reckon this is a good gun.

I have owned this for over two years and is now my main rifle for use in the orchard for pest control. Not a problem for taking out pigeons and rabbits etc if you sight it right and do not try 40m+ shots.
I like this rifle very much and trust it.
Unlike the compressed air and co2 guns I have that run out of gas at inconvenient times every shot from this is a repeat of the last one and effective. The weight absorbs most of the effect of the recoil so It has a good point.
It is a thing of purpose ...

I bought my rifle second hand over the web, it came wit the steel starting to show an orange tinge and thought I'd been had for a mug.

I put a pellet into it and aimed to the far end of my garden and at 25yds
hit exactly what i was aiming for, it's not done anything except perform
excellently and i hadn't fired a more accurate rifle right out the box!

I cleaned up the barrel and it looks tip top now!

    If you can, buy one!

This is a brilliant air rifle i have used a few pcps and a load of springers and this is by far the best springer out there its soo accurate and i have killed loads with it over the past two years only thing is the weight for smaller people and kids but i'm used to it now and shoot rabbits at 40 yards free hand with relative ease so it's a top class gun in my opinion and can keep up with any pcp
