This was the very first place that I visited to try to find my wedding dress. My Mum booked the appointment based on some good reviews that she had found on the internet.

What a waste of time. We visited the shop in Walton-on-Thames. The actual shop reminded me of a cross between a charity shop and a fancy dress shop. The dresses were crammed onto the rails and I found the selection to be very limited. There were lots of dresses but without much of a difference between them.

I found the staff to be friendly and they tried to be helpful but they lacked the "overall picture" in their approach to try to find the perfect dress. They looked at the dress and not the dress on the person. The other lady in the store was being given some encouragement in the wrong direction in our opinion.

The icing on the cake for me was when I had finished trying on my dresses and the assistant walked out of the changing room, hooking the curtain up behind her while I was still in my bra and knickers!

There are several lovely shops in the area including The Bridal Lounge in Ascot (where I have purchased my dress) and Supernova in Datchet. Both of these shops give a much better vibe as soon as you walk in.

They do have a nice range at Love Me Do Brides and as there wasnt a lot else near to me i didnt have much choice

I really enjoyed my trip to Love Me Do Brides - the staff were really friendly and I felt completely relaxed with them (unlike some other stores I have visited!). They had a huge selection and were brilliant fitting me into gowns - they really pin you into the dresses which I think really helps you get an idea of how your dress will look on the day. My friend recommended Love Me Do to me after buying her gown there and I will most defiantly be recommending to others!

I found the service in this store to be bad. The staff appeared to pay no attention to detail and I seemed to be rushed through the appointment and left feeling deflated. They didn't even talk to me before hand to find out what I wanted... would not go again or recommend!

This is the company that was on the BBC programme Don't tell the bride the one with the bridezilla on it! I went to both the Kingston and Walton stores. I was very nervous and a bit put off, after visiting other stores, but I need not have worried, the staff were fantastic, they have such a big range of styles and the prices were great, the dress I bought was £200 cheaper then I had seen in other stores and I got my groom hire free! I highly recommend this company. Hope this review helps. ...
