Pay It Forward is one of those films that stays with you after you've watched it and makes you want to do something with your life after you've seen it.
Based upon a 12 year old boy, Trevor McKinney, troubled by his mother's alcoholism and fears of his abusive but absent father, is caught up by an intriguing assignment from his new social studies teacher, Mr. Simonet. The assignment: think of something to change the world and put it into action. Trevor conjures the notion of paying a favour not back, but forward - repaying good deeds not with payback, but with new good deeds done to three new people. Trevor's efforts to make good on his idea bring a revolution, not only in the lives of himself, his mother and his physically and emotionally scarred teacher, but in those of an ever-widening circle of people completely unknown to him.
It's a really beautiful, thought provoking film, which at the end will leave you happy, sad, yet satisfied.

The film 'Pay It Forward' is about a young lad who starts school and the teacher give the class a challange to make a school project. The young boy takes it one step forward and changes the lives of many people because of a simple step in faith he had. He does someone a good deed and they must do the same to 3 other people and so on. What a great family film-must watch.
