Had this Advent 6520 laptop for two years had one problem in all that time which was rectified asap under warranty.

This was to do with the back light for the screen when it goes down it goes down you cant see a thing on screen.

One other issue that has caused me a small problem is that of the Smart Link Modem it wont let you install AOL 8 due to the driver on this modem it crashes the computer big time blue screen & all.
