    GOOD REPORTS AND STATISTICS. A LITTLE UNPROFFESSIONAL LOOKING AND THE MAIN PROBLEM IS THAT IT IS VERY LONG WINDED TO PUT PRODUCTS ON. DEFINATELY NEED TO CHANGE FOR A BETTER SITE.

    Been using EKM powershop for a number of months now, we use most features that EKM offer, and for £32 a month, its sup
    EKM are always looking to improve their service, and we have had a fantastic service so far.

    To be honest for those of you complaining about the payment system being suspended, if your serious about trading online, use a 3rd party payment gateway!!

    I spoke to support who were there all weekend. The guys at ekm work the clock round, does everyone have a swipe simply because they are the biggest?

    I think so - HSBC went down on the same day, for a lot longer. ekm had the decency to keep everyone in the loop and had alternatives in place. No orders were lost! Hats off to ekm, you can please most people if you do things right.

    Well from what i can gather ekm Systems Ltd did it to stop pepole like YOU getting huge fines for being idiots with card details.

    The guys at ekm all work the clock round - I know cos I called them at 730pm on Friday night!

    They had the decency to let everyone kow what was going on and did everything they could to avoid disruption. And there was no actual disruption - in my opinion all down to how well they handled it!

    I tried the ekmpowershop demo store and it was ok for the money (thats why they get a 1 and not a zero), nothing spectacular there are plenty of others out there. I went on to contact their sales department and asked for a comparison between products and they made it sound great (well I guess they would), I later found out they had lied to me about several things the system does and doesnt do so I left things and looked elsewhere.

    Ekm Systems Ltd ekmPowershop is great for any small business that requires a website. Using a similar listing technique as auction websites, you can customise and alter pretty much everything to make your perfect website.

    Up until today I would have posted a positive review.

    But today EKM have closed down access to accounts because they pretend that today at 3:30pm they found out about PCI compliance.

    Anyone in Ecommerce has known about this for the past 18 months. After 5pm on a Friday they have closed down access to accounts and no-one is available to give any help.

    You can't even register on their forums - they seem to have blocked that too.

    Touch these guys at your own peril! ...

    Everyone likes to have a swipe when their businesses haven't succeeded. The fact is for 20 quid a month you get a lot with ekm.

    If you see their custom design portfolio, you will see how the more serious online traders get their shops looking.

    I bought a fast car the other month, but I haven't won any races. Damn Porsche! I thought it would make me a good driver! See what I mean? If Mr Bean got in the Brawn GP car he wouldn't win the f1 race. EVER.

    Good on the surface but lots of hidden charges which you won't know about until you sign up for example it says £19.99 per month this is infact £19.99 plus VAT, if you want e-mail with your website name in that is another £2.50 plus VAT per month, if you also want to be able to track your visitors this is another £5 plus VAT per month.     You would be better off looking at other options on the market. Ekm Systems Ltd is cheap but in my opinion it looks cheap, and to be honest you get what you pay for, mine broke and hardly worked from the beginning.

    We were recommended to use ekmPowershop a year or so ago by a web designer friend and we moved our site from an open source ecommerce package to ekmpowershop. Initially i was a little concerned about this as we felt that we would have as much control over our store and that we would be very restricted by the controls, however since using the system i have been nothing short of impressed every time.

    EkmPowershop is a basic online shop and you're getting what you payed for - don't expect anything amazing here. If you want a professional looking shop with better features then don't go for this product.

    The EKM Powershop system is web based and so is all accessed via your web browser which means you can work on your site (designing, maintaining and dealing with customers orders) via any computer with a internet connection. I took advantage of this on a recent holiday to Greece where I was able to check our orders.

    After working with many web applications I've always struggled to get a site to sell online simply, I started searching for a local company who could provide a service that is totally updateable for my client and for me via the web.     I was recommended to use ekmpowershop by one of my friends who also has a shop with them, and I must say that it's great. It has enabled me to setup my own online shop with very little computer experience.

    The support team have been really great with me, offering help and assistance at all times and it's refreshing being able to actually speak to someone immediately without having to wait for 30 mins in a call queue like you get with most other internet providers.

    The EKM website is better looking than any website you will be able to build with their software. The site you get will look outdated. And do not phone the customer support number. They will take your money, then not help you. Mention help/refund and they go as silent as the grave. Do not be taken in by their flashy homepage. I was. And lived to regret it.

    If your wanting to setup an easy to use online shop then ekmPowershop is for you, it takes just a few minutes to setup the shop and your online selling to the world.

    We had some problems linking from our existing website to this cart but that was down to a problem on our end, however the support team were really helpful and sorted it out for us.

    After looking around at what must be 50+ different shopping cart systems out there I can honestly say that when you compare all the features, benefits, power and price, ekmpowershop is the best one out there. I relised this mainly after playing around with the demo store, because they allow you to login to a demo shop and actually upload, delete and edit everything on there and its very easy to do, even i can do it! ;)

    I spent 8 months searching the internet for a shopping solution that I could recommend to my clients and it wasn't until I found ekmpowershop that I found one that would suit the bill.

    Ekm Systems Ltd ekmPowershop was a combination of the low cost hosting solution, ease of setup and ease of administration that convinced me ekmpowershop was what I was after.
