“Avoid timberland”

I would be very wary of any timberland boots, I paid £100- £140 for a pair and probably wore them for a maximum of 8 weeks ( they were as new) when the sole just disintegrated! Reading reviews this seemed to be a particular problem with some styles, on complaining about this I was told as they were over 2 years old there was nothing they could do, 2 years must be the expected life span so if you want a longer lasting boot avoid them at all cost.
