    Having lived in Brentwood for many years and tried a large number of its ever changing and often moody hairdressers, Vega has stood the test of time and stands out as something special and well worth a visit. Unlike the corporate chains and short-lived high street shops it attracts a loyal customer base which includes many newcomers and those who have moved away. Its appeal for me is down to the skills and genuinely warm welcome offered by its owner and colleagues. Uniquelly it is now becoming a Brentwood institution as it is also a popular place for local artists to display their work. Top tip: Park like I do for free very nearby at Brentwood station (past the taxi rank for a couple of hours).

    I have only been to Vega twice, and already I feel like I am a long standing client of theirs. They make me feel like I'm their number one customer. On my first visit I really wanted colour, but I did not want to chance it, as I have had some bad experiences at hairdressing salons before, so I opted for a cut & blow. I was so impressed with my new style that I made an appointment for my colour as I left. I recommended Vega to my mother. She has not been to a hairdressers for some time, as chemot ...
