    Good Points: Beautiful beaches. Lovely weather. Lots to see and do.


    Bad Points: Hit and miss with condo's. Need keys to access all areas. Busy road.


    General comments: We had a lovely two week stay in Madeira Beach. We booked privately but next time we would definitely book through a tour operator. The owner of the condo we rented had a last minute, random booking and ejected us out of our accommodation a day early. At Madeira Norte there are keys to access the elevator, the pool and even the beach. This was for privacy and security but we found it quite laborious. Much nicer along at St. Pete's beach which is more laid back and easy. Condo's across from St. John's Pass with eating places, bars and shops. To get there you have to cross a very busy road which can be quite daunting. A beautiful part of the world and we will go back but possibly book either at St. Pete's Beach or further up at Indian Pass.
