I ask for some opinions about the 5mx keyboard.
It's a really good keyboard.

Ericsson MC218
23 Jan 2002

I love this beasty. It is instant on and the display is pretty good - not in the Ipaq league, but the power consumption is low so you go for a week on a set of 4 AA nicads. The only annoying thing about the Ericsson MC218 is that the stylus sometimes pops out on its own - its held by a wire.
I just bought a Handspring for my son, but I know I have a better PDA with a decent little keyboard as well.
Speed isnt everything - EPOC is small and fast - I even enjoy my favourite Speecy game...

Hitachi ePlate HPW 600ET
26 Sep 2002

The Hitachi eplate 600 et PDA is great for someone looking for a handheld that likes a larger screen to write on than a pocketpc has to offer. Calligrapher 6.4 is available for the SH4 processor making handwriting recognition pleasent and easy. Battery life is great and the built in modom comes in handy when trying to access email or browse the internet.

The biggest downfall to the eplate is its screen's inability to be read outdoors.

Psion Series 5mx
6 May 2001

With 16mb of ram and rom you can just keep on saving documents, programs, applications and not be worried about it running out of memory. The backlight lets you work in the dark although I think there should be a backlight for the keyboard aswell. Psion's 5mx presents itself as attractive on the outside but serious on the inside. I would recommend the...

Tapwave Zodiac 2
16 Nov 2005

The Tapwave Zodiac 2 is a very good PDA but if you are looking for a hand held games console then the PSP is the answer, if you are wanting to just write, view photos listen to music, use applications and diaries then the Zodiac Two is good at that, I got it for around £300! which was so expensive, even compared to the PSP, this was about two years ago though. I have had NO problems with it though.
