I have had the Palm Zire Handheld PDA for three trouble-free years. I am in the Army and it has been everywhere with me.
I use it mainly to store contact details and memos - with occassional use of the calendar/reminder.
Battery life is fantastic - I plug it in now and again if I remember.
Very basic but functional.
I will be upgrading to something as simple but with a colour screen.
Reliability has been fantastic.
I waited over one month for stock, before i got this unit. I choosed this unit because of the memory (64megs) and the back up battery. The battery life is excellent, and the safe restore after doing a backup really works. The color is very good, but the casio had a better visual. I loved the size and the protective cover for the screen the unit incorporates. I loved the design and choose it over most of the other available models out there. The biggest failing is that the unit some how gets...
The local electronics have the Navman Pin on sale for a bit over $300 USD, so I was skeptical at first due to reading many reveiws and one other very negative review. What the heck, it was the cheapest GPS and double as a PDA, since the store have a good return policy, so I just got one and gave it a try. I found that the s/w was not too hard to use at all and the graphics is very good. The direction is clear and I'm loving it. I showed this to my friend who owned a unit worth over 1000 and he...
I am 12 years old, and I am a computer geek. I had a Palm M100, and it was good. But the screen was too small, and I switched to a used Cassiopeia E-100(I bought on ebay). Much better, but the old os (It was running Windows CE 2.11) and unsupported prossesor (that's right! MIPS AND the SH3 and SH4 pair Are no longer supported by Microsoft!) was too much. So, in a bizzare twist of fate, I got a brand new Compaq Ipaq H3630 for christmas. On all the others, I was somewhat dissapointed. But not on...
Great PDA, I may change it for a 5mx, but for user friendlynesss and build quality it is brilliant.
