Had This BenQ-Siemens EF61 Mia Phone For Over 3 years No Problems At All. Apart from the occasional crashing the phone was fine.Good Value for Money Not Recomended To Anyone Who Is Not Too Delicate.

Although it seems to be good value for money, it is the slowest phone I've ever seen and is extremely unreliable. It takes about 5 minutes just for it to switch on and load properly so you can send a quick text, and the camera is pretty awful. The mirror makes it a nightmare to see in daylight, and the design is pretty horrible as well.

I don't rate the BenQ-Siemens EF61 Mia, as when you're outside, you're unable to make out anything on the screen except the mirror. Can't wait to change it. It's fine if you want to admire yourself.

The clock on my phone broke within a month of owning it. As it's out of the initial 28 day warranty I had to go directly to Siemens. They told me I'd have to send it to them for repair. Still waiting over a week later! Not what I'd call good service!
I don't know if this is a general fault or just me! When texting, if you type a word that it doesn't recognise, you have to type it in the dictionary. Great, I hear you say! But... every time you switch it off, it loses everything in the dictionary!
The supposed 1.3 mega pixel camera is nowhere near the quality of my last phone which had a VGA camera. The only time it takes a half decent photo is in sunlight. But even then, due to the "mirror" you can't see what you're taking! The mirror is a good idea in theory but as soon as you get a small amount on sunlight reflected onto the screen, it turns into the mirror. You can adjust the brightness settings but it's still not great.
I had my first Mia stolen when I'd only had it for 3 weeks so I naively bought another one to replace it. I wish I hadn't bothered!

I wish I hadn't bought the BenQ-Siemens EF61 Mia phone. It basically looks very nice but I'm forever having to charge it and as soon as I can afford another phone, I'll buy a Nokia again!!!

I brought this phone about 3 weeks ago and I can't wait to change it. I find that you need to press a lot of keys to be able to do simple things like make a call.... my phone usually lives in a back trouser pocket and even after 3 weeks it's very battered and the case is chipped. Until now i have used Motorala phones and can't wait to change back. I personally would not recommend this phone........

I have had to return this phone and when the replacement arrived that too was faulty. I spoke to Benq-Siemens and they told me that this is a common software fault.
