A very good indian restaurant we keep returning to. It was the buisest we have ever seen it this evening, but everything was good as normal. The only downfall about here is that, it can get noisy and very busy, and sometimes there is a over flow of customers waiting for tables, which is usually a good sign. But unfortunately myself and my friends ( a few who come from Indian backgrounds) were all disappointed. The service was awful we put on our table as if we were just another bill. The food at this restaurant was exceptionally well, with the service second to none. We waited this long for a table on Saturday football evening and wonder how long the wait would be on a non-football evening. Whilst we were there from 8:00 till 9:30 maybe the restaurant got full once and after that customers were coming in and out suprisingly it was strange to see how many customers got threw in 1 half our on a tueday night. Had a good laugh just reading this review (as well as others). Have never seen such a spectacular display of really BAD English. Anyway, all the reviews for Shimla restaurant seem to have been written by one and the same person, since the errors and peculiar expressions are identical no matter which Shimla review you read. This hardly makes the reviews trustworthy, guys!

Shimla Shipley is exceptionally popular, we tried to get a table at 8:30 last night and was told to come back at 9:30. Not a problem for us as we just went for a drink next door, came back at 9:30, still it was suprisingly very busy. The night was usual fantastic food, quick service. We we left at 11:30 the restaurant was still 3 quarters full. A very highley reccommended venue and do try the desi dishes whilst your there. (read more)

Tuesday at 7:30 we waited nearly half an hour(it was bustling in there with dozens of people waiting for takeaways.
Our expeiance overall was that Shimla Spice is Hitting it very well with the locals and parties.Decor was just simple and the chairs seemed to be abit slippery, but overall just brilliant.
