Good Points: Very good for a starter computer.
Bad Points: A few things including disk drive failing, network adapter breaking and way to less storage space.
General comments: I think my Toshiba Satellite L30-134 is very good, I don't know what games has to do with it, i have lots of games on it including the godfather and no complaints except the disk drive breaking but overall it is a very good computer to work with and even explore with. (Never download movies takes up to much space).

Mine crashes randomly, bought 7 months ago and had hardware issues all along, network key broke, memory modules playing up, now it crashes several times a day.
This review was written on my upgraded sony vaio which has had no issues in nearly 10 years.

I got this computer for my high schooler couple years ago, she uses this everyday for homework (Word, powerpoint, etc) and her typical emailing and online games on ocassion and after almost 3 years this computer never broke, only got a littler slow, but for the price, we both had no complaints.
I would recommend this for your normal everyday computer use, but not for hard core gaming and such.

For me it comes with way too little RAM, hard disk drive dies after about 6 months and the keyboard buttons start to stick after a while not for long but does become a nuisance in my experience. All in all, my laptop is now well and truly broken in my opinion. And it doesn't come with the OS recovery disk!If you want a laptop, spend money or get something that breaks after 6 months I do not recommend the Toshiba Satellite L30-134 laptop due to my experience. Luckily I had me warranty.

For the price, the Toshiba Satellite L30-134 is a very good piece of equipment. With the memory upgrade, it works really well.

Perfect for upgrading if on tight budget upgraded mine to 1gb of ram and what a little star! Once upgraded it is fine plus processor lets it down but great for starter laptop , but 1 gb of ram soon speeded it up so now no need to change proccesor :0

I purchased this Toshiba Satellite L30-134 laptop to use purely for business and what a little gem it has proved to be. Although it has both restricted battery life and Hard Disk space I have easily increased the memory to 1Gb, (max is 2Gb) and use an external USB Hard Dive to assist in the storage of data. The only downside is the lack of a bright view screen but at this price (£395) who can complain.
