Good Points: My wife and I spent a fortnight at the Sol Guadalupe in Sept/Oct and enjoyed a really good holiday, the reception staff were excellent and friendly with a great sense of humour and spoke very good english too.
The rooms had air conditioning plus a roof fan which was really great, and they were cleaned every day with fresh towels in the bathroom every morning, the linen was changed every third day.
The restaurant was brilliant with efficient friendly waiters who were always happy and smiling, and not having to queue up for a seat was great as there always seemed to be plenty of empty tables.
One or two people moaned about the food always being the same but I am not sure if they ate in the same place as us because we really enjoyed the different selections, big fry-ups at breakfast time, also cereals, and a wide selection of juicy fruits, evening meals were carverys, seafood paella, fry-ups of various kinds, selections of cold meats, everything for every taste, in fact if you found a complaint you must be very hard to please. The entertainment in the lounge at night was good and varied and audience participation was encouraged in some of the activities, which was always a good for a laugh.
We have been to Palmanova and Magaluf a few times, staying at different hotels and would recommend this hotel for all ages it`s a good place to visit.

    Bad Points: Not any really,

General comments: If you do visit don't miss Pirates or Es Foguero, these two shows are absolutely fab and there is a meal in with the price, and as much wine as you can drink, also in with the price, and don't forget to visit the upside down house with the Legent of Katmandu, really weird but great fun.A great holiday which I am certain we`ll come back to in the future.

As far as the generally stinky town of Magaluf goes, Sol Guadalupe Hotel was clean well priced and comfortable.

Although I speak Spanish fluently the reception staff spoke good English, check-in at usual pace (slow) but expected however lifts small which could be restrictive for less able bodied guests.

Rooms clean with multi-lingual TV, air-conditioning & fan, balcony, twin bed and well appointed storage, fridge & safe optional at charge per day, bathroom ok but WC very close to vanity un ...
