I've just joined energie MK (Milton Keynes) after being at Bannatynes for three years where they treat you like c##p. Since joining energie they have been nothing but great to me and actually say hello when you walk in - they know my name after just three weeks! There is no swimming pool but I never used it anyway but the equipment is fine and does the job - good value for £29 per month! I joined on something called empower that gave me basically six weeks to trial the gym and for joining it was totally free! Anyway, energie is good for me so thanks guys

you initially think that the low cost is value for money and in their energie clubs (at least the ones I have visited during my travels)it is true - however the 2 'fit4less' clubs (Swindon & Inverness) are a complete waste of money. Their idea of value for money is no service, no staff, no atmoshpere - just a gym. Completely cr*p!!!
the manager and assistant manager from Inverness have already walked out leaving a skeleton staff (there is often only one person on duty throughout your workout. Th ...

I've been using the energie fitness Croydon for the last 3 years. The major plus points about this club are they always give you a very friendly welcome and you get to meet loads of new people at the members socials each month. This is the third club I've been a member of and this is the first one that's actually managed to get me results and give me more confidence in myself.
I usually come in about 3 times a week to use the gym, or sometimes I do a class, but earlier this year when I got appen ...

The recent take over of the Epsom branch of Fitness First by Energie has left much to be desired. The place was due for a refurb and overhaul. It is now a cess pitt of Health and Safety violations (cracks in flooring, mould in showers, the ladies bin in the disabled toilet hasn't been emptied in ages and has a swarm of flies circling it.). We used to have free refreshments such as soft drinks and coffee on tap. These are non existent now - seem to be constantly out of stock. The free NCP parking ...

Energie Fitness Clubs are owner run and therefore nice atmosphere,
    too few machines
too many members for the size of the gym

I was a member of this Energie Fitness Club for 4-5 months, when I joined I was not sure i would be able to remain a member for a whole year as I can sometimes find that I have no time for the gym. I had left Virgin Active where I was not tied into a years contract and was assured that I could cancel my membership of this gym at any time. When I did cancel my membership the gym told em to write a letter and give them one months notice. This I did and I expected the gym to write to me if I was re ...

I have been a member of 5 gyms over the course of my life and energie fitness in Croydon is undoubtedly the worst gym I have ever been to.The facilities are average at most. Staff don't seem to be particularly interested in you or anything gym-related at all. The worst thing about this gym is that when I tried to query a payment issue with them I was shunted off from one person to the next for 2 weeks. Quite frankly I got better service and better facilities for half the price in my previous gym ...

I have been to a lot of gyms before and they all say they will help you get the body you want etc..... But none of them come through and help you every step of the way like 'Energie' do. Their staff are all interested in YOU and they speak to you personally and get to know you rather than Fitness First for example where they just write you a plan and say get on with it, ask if you need anything. Energie staff are always there for you, pushing you to hit your goals.

Women only, so I don't feel that I need to worry about what I wear. Energie is not just a gym - it deals with you whole self, helping to change negative mindset and encouraging freindship and good communication. This is the best regime for women who have low confidence or little time. I was worried that there cardiovascular workout would be low, but how wrong I was! In half an hour the whole bady gets a great work out. I can do half an hour! Would recommend this to all women.

Just joined my local Energie Fitness Club. What a contrast to the chain gyms I have used in the past. The staff at Energie actually seem to be interested in helping me, unlike the indifferent attitude I experienced from staff at Fitness First and LA Fitness.

The gym is well equipped and very clean. The equipment is probably not quite as state of the art as the equipment at some of the big chain gyms I have been to, but at the end of the day a treadmill is a treadmill is a treadmill! Anyway I ...
