    Good Points: As a Basic TELEPHONE it's unbeatable:
    * Excellent Battery-life (not compromised by too many battery-draining features).
    * An Easy-to-Use clamshell design.


    Bad Points: Motorola's not-the-best user interface (menus) and, if texting is your thing, other phones are better in these areas.


    General comments: It does what it says on the tin. It's a mobile/cell Telephone with a few extras. For my money, it's well designed to meet the needs of the market it was designed for -- 10/10.

    It is a great phone if you are looking to be in fashion with out spending a great deal.

    Overall I think the Motorola W220 is quite good and I would recommend it to a friend.

    This phone was released in New Zealand about 3 months ago, and I got one maybe 2 weeks after that. In NZ these phones only come in Black, or pink with mirrored front where status icons are. This phone has no external screen, but instead has 3 icons alerting user to incoming/missed calls(green phone for known caller, or orange for unknown), text/picture messages (blue envelope), and low battery (orange battery shape).     Motorola W220 is a nice stylish phone, looks good in black and hopefully will stand up to the knocks better than my last phone. Compact and understated for those who don't like to sit in company and play with your phone to try and impress people.
