    Good Points: plays most form of dvd, good price, good picture quality. Good remote.


    Bad Points: could be smaller.


    General comments: The sound level needs ajusting to above half on my pro logic television to hear dvd despite having it set to full on dvd player.

    a great player! bought 4 for the family. easily hackable for multi-region playing, great quality picture and plays just about everything you can throw at it even plays cdr discs, everthing except Divx! But, overall a highly recommended great player.

    What a bargain Asda have on sale with the Pacific p-dvd1000 dvd player! For only £89 you get a DVD player with a full 3 year warranty. The quality of the video and the audio is outstanding (as i suspect it is on all DVD players) with no noticable artifacting. As stated elsewhere on here it can be made region free with no fuss should you require it.
    The player is slightly on the large side and is not the prettiest machine on the planet but the superb price more than makes up for it.

    The multi-region crack on the pacific p-dvd1000 DVD player is obtained by:
    pressing the open/close button on handset.
    Enter numbers 8421
    Then press enter until 'Region 9' is shown
    Close the drawer then you've sorted yourself out

    had 1 of these lil puppys in my hand for 3 days, and I fell in love with it!the moment i got it outta the box, all looked good! the display is very good,its a sound,quality made case,and makes a good noise wen u open it!the set up was easy and readable.The picture quility is superb,on my pana 28 pk1 TV,the sounds is crisp and clear,wht more do u want for a shade under 100 notes?!also an easy multi reigon hack(open the draw press 8421 and select by pressing enter, reigon 9,and close the draw,and ...
